Your sister sounds awful Siebrie!19

I have had a lovely weekend. The weather was gorgeous and we went to a local castle for a long walk, a local festival at the beach, to an outside bar on Saturday night and to see Dara O Briain on Friday evening. We ate out a lot at cafes and outside in parks or on the beach. It felt like a short holiday! We managed to take our cats for their annual checkup and vaccs too so that is one thing out of the way.
Back to earth with a bump today. I have to vacuum, order some groceries and I have some admin stuff to do. It is supposed to be 19 today, but it feels quite cold to me! I need to do laundry and hang it up outside.
I took a big pile of books to a charity shop last week. I have also decluttered some OOD or unwanted food to the bin. I had to use up an old cardigan to take my cats to the vet in the carriers as I had run out of puppy pads so that was binned afterwards. I did clean my summer sandals and noticed that one has a crack in the sole so I bought some new ones to replace them.
I follow Dilly on Instagram and I saw they are filming the new series of Sort Your life Out at the moment.:)2025 GOALS

Oh @Siebrie your sister is most definitely ‘a wotsit’. She clearly has a few issues she ought to address. Glad you’re wise to her antics.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Hi Allie23👋
Siebrie your sister is a horror. I thought my brother was bad! You deal with her very well.Thank you for congratulating me on my weight loss. I am really good at losing weight. I am equally as good at gaining weight. What I am bad at is maintaining weight. I intend to learn how to maintain weight this time!
Liverpool Anne, I had my jab last Friday. Can’t say I have noticed a difference yet. I have though noticed a huge difference in the attitude of the staff at my new GP practice. 😀I am enjoying your garden photos. I will do one of mine. It is maturing very well considering it wasn’t there this time last year.I hope you feel better soon Florenceem.Perfect motor bike weather for Mr SD.Off to Nottingham now to empty the loft in mil’s house. Hottest day of the year too.Vx:19 -

For the sore throat - you could try gargling with some sage tea. A teaspoon of dried sage in a tea cup, hot water to brew it, let it cool to luke warm, strain and use the liquid to gargle with. It's very soothing and tastes more pleasant than a lot of cough medicines. And no conflict if you are on any medications as far as I'm aware.
Meanwhile I've been decluttering the greenhouse of seeds and bulbs and getting them into the garden and pots. Part of this was to also buy a couple of small pots of sweet peas and I had left them overnight on the pot where they were to be planted. I was surprised yesterday morning to discover 1 pot was missing - obviously the work of Artful Dodger and her nefarious gang!!! I eventually found the pot at the bottom of the garden, empty. It wasn't until later in the day I discovered the very wilted sweet pea seedlings under the arbor. By that time I'd bought a pack of seeds as no more seedlings were available at the garden centre. I've popped the wilted ones in along with the unwilted ones and have soaked the seeds overnight so hopefully they will all be fine and I'll get a huge array of flowers. Bonus was that when I was tidying the tulip leaves out of the pot I discovered some other plants sprouting up - possibly more sweet peas seeded from last year? if not they will be morning glories or black eyed susan which will all be lovely.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Working in the office is getting to me - probably because I feel unwell. I plan to clean and put stuff on shelves rather than finish all the shredding - 27 sacks went on Friday and I have 17 more filled - I am fed up with doing it.
I may need another tip run - at least the drive is clear today.
Mr F hasn't helped my mood - I spoke to him and he was very down.

@vulpix your garden is beautiful.
It's been a marathon task but bookshelves are refilled with books. Even OH wanted a more mimimalist look! We have about 40 books that didn't make it back onto the shelves currently on their way to the local charity shop.
Another 12 or so are set aside to be sold as they are collectables. I will list them later this week and contact the company who buys them.
A small pile of classics is set aside for one of my pupils who has just discovered Jane Austen etc. I will take them into work tomorrow.
I feel like I have made a good start.17
