Hello all 😘
Cant remember when I last posted so apologies if I repeat anything.
Had my hair cut today and promptly burst into tears at the hairdressers - not because it was a bad cut but because I was very overwhelmed with everything going on. I tend to man up and get on with stuff usually but couldn’t today.
anyway felt better after a blub- this is what’s bothering me:
Dog1 her eye seems to be getting worse with discharge so I will speak to my own vet on Monday. I’m also worried that the infection she had has gone to her new metalwork and the specialist vet said if it has they will have to rip it all out and redo it - but won’t know until they X-ray it whenever that is.
Work - really having to bite my tongue!!!!!!! TB seems to want me to fail.
Blood tests show my iron and vitamin D levels are rock bottom so my dr will be sorting out supplements….no wonder I feel so low and shattered.
Got another blood test booked and will be having an endoscopy soon too.
Eating is a problem - may as well throw everything down the loo to save time.
Anyway - huge hugs for those who need them and I hope the next few days are kind to you all. Xx⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

@Muddy_Walker hugs if helpful, you have so much going on totally understandable why overwhelmed. Glad you felt better after the blub.18

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
DH & I have spent another 45 minutes in the garden. DH has jet washed the patio - Pic 1 & repaired the top of the fence - Pic 2. I have cut down nearly all of the greenery associated with the tulips & daffodils - as I am a lazy gardener I leave the bulbs in the ground 😉 All the garden tools have now been put away & we are finished for the day 🥳 Gradually getting there & hopefully I haven’t done too much & will be fit enough to continue tomorrow 🤞

weenancy, what an excellent result from Fridays book sale 👏 All your hard work paid off 🥳 Hopefully the head librarian is taking on the responsibility of advertising that the June book sale is on a Saturday & not a Friday🤞Excellent work dealing with so many frogs 👏 one Gold Star ⭐️ winging its way to you 😊Fingers crossed that The Chart will prove useful & that the 2 housemates who do help will pay attention 🤞 Don’t forget the sticky gold stars 🤣 Good job roommate G cancelled the wedding - they are so expensive 😉 With all that work & studying scheduled over the coming month, together with your cataract operations, I am still wondering how you manage to find time to sleep 🤔 Please, please take care 🙏 & do remember to follow doctors order ‘exactly’ after each cataract operation 🙏
Florenceem, I do understand that you are not the type of person to sit around doing nothing BUT you really do need to take care of yourself 🙏 Otherwise Floss, Foofoopuppy & I will have to come around & tie you to a comfy chair & feed you bonbons 😅
TC77, I understand perfectly 😉 There are several different spellings & doubling up on the letters seems to indicate the level of frustration 😔 Great news that DD1 has managed to find a flat 🥳 but a shame that she cannot move in until the end of June 😔 Even better news is that DD1’s mh & independence are both improving 😊 Hope you had a good time & enjoyed sewing club & that you returned home to a cleared hallway & that your DDs did the wudupa 🤞Is there a local repair group to whom you could donate the old sewing machine? Please can you take your own advice & “be gentle with yourself”
Excellent work clearing the gravel of weeds Soontobeoap 👏 & well done on pacing yourself 👏 Good luck with the garden & shed decluttering over the weekend 🍀 but please pace yourself as you want to be fit enough to enjoy the visit from your Grandsons 🙏 Another half term - it only seems like yesterday when schoolchildren had their last half term 🤣
Losing concentration, so will post this & try to come back later 👋

Lost post several times! So much going on I including Mrs and Mr SD.
Did a little tidying , electronic and paper clutter and a little cleaning so things improving .15 -
Not up until 7 today - latest for 5 weeks.
Lovely sunny day here.
Feel really rough this morning.
DSil is coming at 9 to clear my drive.
When I was chatting on the phone to Mr F yesterday - I said there was stuff on the drive for the tip - he asked me what. When I said - suitcase - he said - oh - I was going to take those to the second hand shop for him to sell them - 50% each. I had offered them on Freecycle - no takers - if people don't want them free - who is going to pay? See what I am up against - Mr F sees value in everything - those suitcases have been sitting in his office since we married - 25 years ago - I am going Biblical on him -

We’ve been looking for a narrow set of shelves for the kitchen to capture and corral things like my glass jars (when not in use). Yesterday we succeeded! All for a bargain £20

Spoken to Mr F this morning and told him about the suitcases not being wanted free - think I got through to him.
Mr F was feeling down this morning - reason - his bed bath didn't go well - his mental state is so fragile.
Feel like I have the plague - doorbell went - I am behind the front door saying - who is it - when a voice said J - not DGS J but a friend J - I said - I have Covid - he put a get well card for Mr F through the letterbox.
My drive is empty!

Roast beef, roast potatoes & parsnips, cabbage & Yorkshire puddings for dinner last night 😋 DH made the gravy. For once, I got all my timings correct 🥳 Wudupa

Sunday is overcast but bright with a cool breeze & the sun trying hard to appear. I wasn’t up quite so early today - about 11:20 😔 I ache a bit after yesterday’s endeavours but I can still move 😉
Liverpool_Anne, sorry to hear that your holiday wasn’t as relaxing as you were hoping 😞 Although it sounds like OH enjoyed seeing family 🙂 Perhaps your next trip can be just the 2 of you 🤞 Great work with the holiday washing 👏 I did smile when I read that you came home a day early for the footy 😅Hope your team won 🤞
Florenceem, that was nice of your DD - ice cream for your sore throat 😊 Please do try to rest completely & forget about decluttering completely 🙏 Your body is telling you to rest & now you need to get your mind to do the same 😉
Brie, another person that I am pleading with to rest & practise the ‘art of Doing & Thinking nothing’ 🙏Agree with Floss that Fagin’s Foxes are making sure that the new furniture is acceptable in THEIR garden 😂
Floss I agree 😉
Florenceem, that is definitely a small load for DSiL’s Tip run - should easily fit in his car 👏
QueenJess, another one who needs to rest although I do understand that you must take care of DD & DS 😔 Pleased to hear that you have delegated dinner duties to DH. Fingers crossed that you managed a few mummy naps during the day 🤞
Muddy_Walker, sending lots of hugs your way 🤗 A bit disconcerting for your hairdresser 😉 but I think the relaxed environment is probably why you had a good cry. You have a lot on your plate at the moment not helped by being so run down 😔 Sending lots of positive vibes & good wishes 😊Hopefully the supplements will start raising your Vitamin D & iron levels quickly & your TB will soon be consigned to your past 🤞 Your new job must be starting soon 🤞 I am also keeping everything crossed that your vet can help Dog1 get better without the need for further surgery 🤞
Lovely supportive post TC77 😊
Florenceem, pleased to hear that you are trying to rest & giving yourself a spot of TLC 😊 Are the bin men going on strike because you have been putting out too much stuff for collection 😉 I really am only joking 🙃
Sorry you lost your long post TC77 ☹️ Good work on the decluttering & tidying 👏 & I do hope your DDs did clear the hallway & do the wudupa 🤞
Florenceem, sorry to hear that you are feeling so rough today 😔 Sounds like MrF is definitely getting better if he is enquiring about stuff on the drive 🙂Although I can see now why you wouldn’t mention exactly what you are decluttering 😉 I really, really loved the idea of you going Biblical on MrF - I was imagining all sorts of things 😂 I never knew that ‘decluttering’ was mentioned in the Bible 😊
Florianatwobob, beautiful shelving unit 😍 & a bargain price 😊
Floss, thanks for the link 👏 & the reminder of this beautiful song 🙂 Just listened to it & bookmarked 😊
Florenceem, sorry to hear that MrF was so down this morning 😔 Very difficult talking through a door ☹️ Good luck with the shredding 🍀 I hope you remember to take a photo of your empty drive 😉
All caught up 🥳 DH is up, the sun is out, the hm soup is warming & I am about to have my 2nd cuppa & tackle some paperwork 😉
