2023 DECLUTTERING CAMPAIGN Mrs SD

I had lots of cake Mrs SD 😁. Sunday we visited fil and brought back loads of old camping stuff of dhs which was still in the loft. We have sorted through it today and decluttered loads (wasn't expecting dh to part with anything!) Loads of stuff for the tip, some for the cs and i am going to see if the school would like metal pots and plastic plates and cups for their mud garden tomorrow. This morning we went for our first cooked breakfast since before covid and it was delicious 😋. Ds had never been before and was having the time of his life, an easy to please 2 y/o. 2nd dd last went when she was just over a year old and she found it amazing that you could pick what you wanted from all the dishes. After breakfast we went and got a new tent. An 8 man and it is huge! When the shop owner (an independent) helped dh put it in the car I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.... it fills the boot 🤣. We have spent the afternoon in the garden so small difference made there but I have also started decluttering the shed. Will continue tomorrow after my hospital appt to discuss my stomach polyps. Feels like it has come around really quickly with everything that has happened since January.2024 decluttering Campaign

DBro and his niche reading material sort out resulted in a few extra books for Ziffit. Fortunately there was enough for another complete trade and we had a box to send them off in. Took those down the road to the newly installed InPost lockers. Discovered a walk down the road and back is just shy of half a mile which is considerably shorter then the next InPost lockers which are about a two mile round trip.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Evening
My friend and I spent a few hours yesterday demolishing my old and decrepit garden shed. It is now a big pile of wood on my patio and the contents are also in the garden.
@Florenceem - I found an ancient Bullworker in my shed!
I have sorted some items for the CS but I am not counting anything as decluttered till it leaves the premises...
I need to get a tree surgeon to cut back the trees that were growing over the shed and cut back a bay hedge - when that has been done my garden will look about a third bigger!
Back to work tomorrow and got a busy week following local elections so not much decluttering will be done but I will try to keep on top of the emails
Love to all

I managed to declutter my broadband - I was trying to switch to a cheaper option, but they can't connect me.
Or rather 'it's technically possible but drilling through the wall would knock the tiles off the outside mansard wall (four floors up over a car park) and we couldn't attach the wire for the first five feet because of the shop, so it would have to hang free'.
I did ring BT to say please don't cut me off but it was such last doors they'd already started the process. Then I was on holiday and had to sort it when I got back. Anyway, all working again now.
I'm still decluttering slowly but surely - mostly books as I read through them and take them to the bookswap, and a couple more pieces of clothing with holes. I'm also counting one frog as I've raised a complaint about the backdated pay I never got. I really didn't want to resort to that, but it's been since December and I now can't get hold of my rep - and even if (worst case scenario) the answer is 'no it doesn't work like that for temps' at least I'll have clarity.

Two storage boxes picked up, card posted, one wicker basket to landfill - abit marked and no-one wanted! Forgot new dishwasher fitted old one taken away but left cutlery basket which someone wants. No items sold. A little filing and paper declutter, and ood food out. DD1 lent me her passport so have scanned for her and going to work from her's while landlord has it valued, and leaky tap gets fitted. Deleted a few emails and got onedrive down to 97%, financial frog and another one done. Can't get through to pharmacy for DD1 meds, and realised complaint from last Nov not dealt with so chased. 65215

Hi all, quick update, loads of ironing done, far more than I will need to take on holiday but I thought I'd just keep going as summer is coming so the t shirts need to be ironed now as they won't be hidden under the jumpers so often, hopefully
. I have some cut offs and shorts to do tomorrow as I just got fed up with it, but the back has been broken. I have sorted socks and underwear, 1 pair of socks to the rag bag
and I have sorted my toiletries bag, just the last minute things to throw in. After much rummaging I found one of OHs t shirts that was missing and a pair of crocks that are apparently essential
. The bedroom now looks like a bomb has exploded but I will sort it tomorrow after I have finished the ironing in case OH decides something else needs finding
I am claiming 1 point for the ironing today as I really don't like it and I had to give myself a proper talking to
.
@diminua re the broadband, if I understand correctly were you trying to get fibre fitted? If so I don't think it will make much difference which company you use as the installation is the same so you might have similar problems with them all. My understanding is that openreach fit it for them all. It might change in future but it might be worth further investigation as I know bt are switching off normal broadband in a couple of years. There must be a lot of people like you who have different house styles so they will have to find a solution somehow.
Hugs to everyone who would like one
