Another week and work continues to be out of control. Fed up with it now as it is just "work" with no educational value to my brain, too many hours and poorly remunerated. Trying to regain tiny bits of control by doing minuscule tidying/decluttering tasks or small frogs whenever I take a break, but I'm pretty much behind on "life" right now.

13,375 - kids stickers used up
13,376-13,384 - kids clothes too small (charity bag)
I have been rummaging in DD's clothes drawers as I feel as though it's out of control with the ongoing switch to another size and the constant decisions re: DS's old clothes to merge into DD's "new" clothes (with the caveat DD is starting to have her own opinions so sometimes won't wear certain things). I am trying to limit her wardrobe down to something sensible and have decided the "overflow" I will file in the wardrobe boxes so if I'm wrong I can just pull it out. After a while I can get rid of the overflow. The boxes are usually for the next size up clothes, but I am in no rush to pull those out of the attic, wash and sort them out since I now have a whole year before she will go into those. Long PJ's have been sorted as DD has decided she doesn't like most of DS's old ones. I kept the ones she will wear and have ordered another one I am sure she will love 2nd hand. The rest are filed in the wardrobe boxes. I keep looking at the tops, but made little progress apart from finding some too small tops that must have missed the purge. I think I'll have to slowly test them on DD to see what works for her, but might just keep out my favourite ones/the ones I think she'll like best and then I can swap some over if she has other ideas! Aiming for 14 tops max as she can go through that many in a week as she loves playing in the mud and painting herself

@foxandflowers love the journal, we also stayed at Orchards although it was about 5 years ago now. Eldest dd loved the swimming pool 😄. Thanks for dhs medal @mrs_salad_dodger. Appointment went well at hospital this morning. Had to have a procedure that involved scraping my innards 😬. Got to go back and have a hysteroscopy so am on the waiting list for that now... slowly we are getting there! Did 2x tip runs and made a dent. Booked another one for tomorrow morning. Planning on putting dcs to bed, having dinner and then I really need to knuckle down and sort out my MMiM so am going to tackle the kitchen and count 1 for every cupboard and section of worktop (we have 4 worktop spaces but only 3 are accessible as the 4th is dhs and the less said about that the better.... 🤣)as they are particularly epic. Hope you all have a lovely evening.

@Mrs_Salad_Dodgerto be fair to BT there is more to this story: the date for the new install was put back twice, and the engineer actually turned up at gone 5.30pm on the Friday claiming he could find nowhere to park despite a sports place opposite me with free parking, so by the time I called to say don't disconnect me it was pretty late.
@Liverpool_Anne. To be honest I think, given there is already a copper cable running up my building and through my wall, and a tv aerial cable drilled through my window frame which I don't use, that fibre is probably doable using either of those gaps, but it's perhaps not cost effective for the cheaper providers to go to that trouble. And as they'd already given me the runaround a bit and I was having second thoughts anyway I didn't try to argue with him.

I agree with @florianatwobob, keep ruffling those feathers @Florenceem. So much extra stress for you at a time you really don't need it. 1 cupboard done (the cereal one) need 2x cereal canisters and will get them when I do my big shop in the middle of the month. MMiM: 1= camping gubbins. 2= shelves of shed 3= cereal cupboard. Only 46 to go..... was hoping to finish painting side fence panels but the weather is hampering that part so that is a frog in progress, also want to finish painting the linen cupboard woodwork so that is another in progress, hopefully finish that one this week.

HI everyone I've not achieved any decluttering at home but at work my colleague and I put a load of paper and booklets in the paper recycling bin and have about 2 more binfuls to add later this week. We both hate our overcluttered office, none of the stuff is mine & most of it isn't hers either. I got a letter today from the Air Ambulance CS saying my donations had raised over £80! That's an incentive to get more stuff donated... Love Deni x

@floss will be thinking of your Thursday and hope all goes as smoothly as possible x Love the lemon curd, Teddy and crow journal and the huge amount of decluttering going on.
I need a new sewing machine for my sewing class. My dad's is so heavy , something seems wrong ( probably just the tension) but also can't get parts. Found a free one and about to tak but equally old and heavy so have said no reluctantly and found a second hand new to me current model at a reasonable price so hope to go with that.
One free item posted and picked up. A vase in from a neighbour:(
Hope all goes well @floss for Thursday 💐. MMiM 4: plate cupboard. Nothing decluttered but organised and found a roll of foil thrown at the back. MMiM5: saucepan and baking tray cupboard. All kept and need to get a smaller roasting dish. Sun is shining, washing is hung up outside, who knows what the day will bring?

DGS J is coming this morning to continue in what he told his Mum was - a jungle! I am not visiting Mr F today - I will go to help organise serving of the meal at SA. So no cooking for me. I have letters to post and a bag of stuff for the charity shop so will do that after SA. I have 4 Freeglers coming to collect stuff - the garage is getting better. My numbers are going up well. Love the lemon curd - I like it in a lemon Victoria Sandwich.
