~FlowerPot~ - I have done so much that I won't give up now. There will be photos when completed.
DGS J is here and hard at work in the back garden. SIL has booked a tip slot for Sunday - 3rd week in a row. Don't think he will manage to get it all in the car so can see another weeks tip trip needed.18 -
I have a small table in my craft room which was a mess - it is meant to be for me to place wips on. I decided to tackle it this morning - took just over 30 minutes. I have put small bits to sort out in the round tub - I can do that when I am sitting down in the evening.
I found my hot glue mat that I was looking for - also found made charms - will try to sell these at the new table top sale.
2 Freeglers have been to collect so far today.

For a second I thought that was a typo and it's where you place your whips! Then I deciphered it!!!Florenceem said:I have a small table in my craft room which was a mess - it is meant to be for me to place wips on.
The charms are very nice and will no doubt sell quickly.

Hi.Fox and flowers, what is a crow journal? I looked it up and it said a journal from a university in the states. I love your journal btw.Floss. I am with you in spirit on your health journey. None of it is as bad as was expected and your job in it all is to rest and recover. Xxx
You are a marvel Florenceem. From my experience with mil recently everything is dependent on an empty bed, so it may be ages before anything happens. It doesn’t help loved ones anxiety though. ❤️
some more stuff out. A nice polo shirt with holes across the belly in a line. Mr V has no recollection of doing this!
A set of pretty mugs which are a beautiful shape but awkward to drink from.Today I will spring clean the sitting room. I am not expecting much to go as there isn’t much in there. Ie the big brown drawers which are too small to hold much. Mr V is in there atm going through a box of his mothers paperwork.Yesterday I had to buy some black trousers for a funeral next week. My usual trousers were falling off me. This is the wrong time of year for black trouser shopping. Hobsons choice in the end. I have loads of black trousers that are just too small, typical.Oh, I ate a massive frog. I took my identification to the GP so I can make appointments on line. I asked about vitamin B12 jab and she made me an appointment for next week! I did actually go last week but there was a lady collapsed on the footpath with a crowd of staff round her so I came away.377. Polo shirt

Cleared out the bathroom with Stepdaughter last night of all the various bottles, lotions and potions. 9 empty or nearly empty bottles washed out and put in recycling bag. Also 8 makeup brushes donated to stepdaughter. I don't... wear makeup?? Ever?? So I have no idea why I have such a nice pretty collection. I may actually need to tackle my makeup bag at some point, and just keep foundation/primer/blush/bronzer/mascara/eyeliner for emergencies, such as my friend's wedding in September. Urban Decay used to do a liquid eyeliner in a colour called Smog that was perfect and I have never found it since, but I remain convinced that if I did, I would probably start wearing eye makeup again just because I loved it that much.
52/365. Rolling onwards!
Next on the list is my jewellery collection. Given that I never change my jewellery why have I accumulated so much of it? I have managed to lose my Radley necklace, but I still have the presentation box it came in, so I will aim to get my jewellery that I want to keep for whatever reason down to fitting in said box. It's currently in a rather large craft storage box. I do not need or want earrings that I have had since I was 14. I do not need or want several necklaces, when I never take off my Tiffany. Fantasy me apparently really liked jewellery, reality me, doesn't like the hassle of changing it and is very comfortable with my few favourites thank you very much.
Bonus to decluttering, so far I have found some treasures...
1 - Dior Perfume - cheap perfume makes me break out, I am allergic, but for some reason never had a problem with Dior. So now I smell pretty every day
2 - My mum kept the receipt for her wedding to my dad in Switzerland in the 1980s. I haven't found their wedding certificate, but I can renew my Swiss passport if I can order a replacement certificate, and now I know which bureau to contact. Then if SHTF, I can just move there instead and claim residency. (very emergency backup plan if nukes start getting thrown around - my family have bunkers)
3 - An 'all about me' book I filled in when I was 9. Gave husband and I some laughs, and I've put it aside to show my daughter when she turns 9. She is just like me according to what I wrote then!
4 - My label maker!
Fox is going to label EVERYTHING. As soon as I can figure out how to put in the replacement tape spoolie.

It's where you stick all your favourite random pieces of paper/stickers/pretty shiny things that are lying around, so that they are no longer lying around but are corralled into one place. I'm terrible for hoarding paper, and scraps of paper with drawings on etc (I have some friends gave me in secondary school - 20 odd years ago!) so now they all have a home.vulpix said:Hi.Fox and flowers, what is a crow journal? 1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off -
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Tuesday stayed dry until about 21:30 & then had a short shower. DH visited G today - definitely still improving & was a bit more talkative today. There was even talk of discharging her but the decision has been deferred to the weekend. DH arrived home earlier than usual - about 19:30. Dinner was cold pork, oven chips & beans. Wudupa. The only thing I did today was clear down more programmes from TV planner.

Wednesday is a brighter day - fluffy white clouds & some sunshine 🙂 DSis has a load in the wm & DH is about to go into the garden whilst I finish my first cuppa.
Excellent decluttering roundtuit 👏
Rant away Muddy_Walker & Brie 😉 Apart from leaving clothes on the bedroom floor my DH is pretty good 🙂 As to shopping, I write a list, DH goes to the sm (pays 😉) & I put away - I wouldn’t want my DH messing up the tidy cupboards or fridge 😂
gettingthrifty, great news that you have picked out the ideas that will work for you 🥳 and are now enthused & have restarted your decluttering journey 😊 Sorry to hear that you are struggling with post Covid fatigue 😔 Excellent news that DH’s new job comes with access to a company truck type vehicle 👏 I foresee several trips to the Tip 😉 Excellent decluttering 👏
I am struggling with concentration so I will come back later

@Florenceem The charms are nice, a very good thing to find. Very impressed with the tidying, your craft room looks lovely, only slight envy here
I'm struggling to update my signature again, I'm such a klutz, but I'm now up to 30 items, plus:
1 x magazine to colleague
3 x t-shirt, hand cream, lip balm to sister
1 x bag of weeds pulled up
1 x bag misc rubbish from bedside table top drawer - yuk
I'm almost always about 10 pages behind, so I'm off to catch up again now.
