Forints and Levs collected, counted and put into envelopes. Checked their worth in GB£. Liaised with DS. Forints (£1.15) to go to Oxfam. Levs (£19.90) to go to DS to change back into English money.
Washed my fleece and DS's McLaren jacket....which I found hidden on the coat rack. Jacket to be returned to DS.

Craving_space - my craft room is a tip at the moment but I will get it sorted.
Lovely weather for DGS J to work in my back garden. He has made such a difference. So many black sacks to go to the tip. He plans to trim the holly tree - he will be back here on Friday morning.
Been to SA - serving meals - we had fish/sausage & chips + baked beans + mushy peas followed by apple pie & custard.
I went into town to get some money for J and posted letters. I needed to buy Glucosamine tablets and take a bag of stuff to the charity shop.
Bit miffed - I kept an item 10 days for someone to collect at noon today - they haven't collected. Had other people wanting the item. I don't like being messed about when someone is getting a nice item free.
When I got home - looks like the scrap men have been - microwave has gone from the drive.
J helped my neighbour to carry a small chest freezer over from their house - they are moving and don't want it - I was talking to B and mentioned my leaky freezer and she offered me their one. As soon as it is cold enough - I will move the food out of the old one - J will help me put it on the drive for a tip run.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

The Freegler due to collect from my porch at noon was running late and did turn up - a couple of hours after planned time.
Another Freegler has just collected 2 items and I have put tiles in the porch for her son to collect when he finishes work tonight.
I have finally gone through a high stack of paperwork from Mr F's office - shredded. Now working on taking apart and shredding cheque books stubs starting 25 years ago.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off -
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
I did join DH in the garden 😉 DH dug a hole for the clematis but had to use a saw attachment on his drill to cut out the plastic grid. The clematis is now planted & watered in & I used clips to trail it up the trellis. DH zizzed up vegetable scraps & fed the worms. Whilst DH was planting the clematis he received a call on his watch from niece M - her sister G is being discharged from the hospital today 😊Later my eldest cousin A phoned, he is meeting his sister R to visit funeral directors. Officialdom is working slowly + the earliest date for a funeral is 5th June 😔 I have made guacamole & DH has now made a vegetable soup using up limp vegetables & the lo gravy. DSis’s washing is out on the whirligig even though it has clouded over 🤞the rain stays away 🤞
DSis went out about 16:00. DH has now zizzed up another load of scraps which will be added to the wormeries in a few days. He has also dismantled the lid of the bike top box in anticipation of receiving the new bits to make the repairs 🤞

Florenceem, I sometimes wish that I could leave stuff on the drive to be taken but we live in a quiet cul-de-sac so no footfall or passing cars 🤷♀️ I agree with florianatwobob that you should definitely keep ‘ruffling feathers’ to get the best outcome for both you & MrF 😊 Keeping everything crossed that MrF’s physical therapy continues in the hospital without the need to move him 🤞
Well said florianatwobob 👏
QueenJess, sorry to hear that work is so fraught still 😔 Hopefully it will ease up soon 🤞Good luck with DD’s clothes sorting 🍀 - it seems to be a constant challenge & I do think you are being a bit hard on yourself ‘wagging finger emoji’ 😉 I really admire the way you still manage to keep up with it all 👏
Dfw38, pleased to hear that the hospital appointment went well 🙂 Hopefully you won’t have to wait too long for the next procedure 🤞 Excellent work getting 2 Tip trips done 👏 & good luck with the kitchen MMiM 🍀
foxandflowers, a very kind offer to Florenceem 😊
diminua, sounds like the other company didn’t really want your business 😔 Hopefully now you are back with BT you will have no more problems 🤞
Well said Dfw38 😊 Excellent work tackling your MMiM & your frogs 👏 I really do need to actually list mine as I am remembering what a great motivator it is in getting things done 😉
Excellent decluttering at work Deni_debt-free_dreamer 👏 Hopefully with all the work you & your colleague are doing your workplace will be more relaxing & efficient 🤞
Floss, wishing you a successful outcome on Thursday & a speedy recovery ❤️🩹
TC77, here’s hoping that the new sewing machine works well 🤞+ very well done on not taking your original choice of sewing machine 👏
Excellent work Dfw38 👏 Although I was hoping that it was a roll of fivers that you had found 😅
Florenceem, sounds like DGS J is thoroughly enjoying working in your garden 😊 If it really is a jungle 😉 hopefully he will find some treasure 😉 Excellent decluttering as usual 👏 & yippee to no cooking 🥳
~FlowerPot~ I am extremely jealous of your lemon curd but am enjoying the taste vicariously 😅 Never too sure why writers feel the need to butcher a classic 😔 although maybe I am just being an old fuddy-duddy 😂 I was starting to get annoyed whilst typing as predictive text kept changing fuddy-duddy to ‘faddy daddy’ 😖
Florenceem, your determination is amazing 🤩 Definitely looking forward to seeing the photos when the garage is all done 🙂 The way you are going I can see Tip trips 4, 5 & 6 😉 as it seems the more you declutter, the more you want to declutter 😊 Excellent work on tidying your crafting table 👏 Those charms are beautiful 😍 You will have no trouble selling them & will probably receive many commissions 😊
Brie, it took me a while to get ‘wips’ - my brain was being a bit slow although it didn’t quite stray to ‘whips’ 😂
Lovely supportive post vulpix 😊 My imagination is running wild re MrV’s polo shirt 🤣 Great decluttering & cleaning 👏 The drawers might be small but it is a beautiful piece of furniture so I am really pleased that you have decided to keep it 😊 Sorry to hear that you have a funeral to attend next week 😔 Well done on dealing with such a massive frog 👏 DH has the same thing to do in the next week or so as he does tend to conduct not only his financial affairs but also his health affairs online.
Concentration is wavering again, so I will post this 😉

Pulled out a knotted carrier bag labelled rags - to go to cs
PS3 box pulled out. It contains the Wii for some reason. I know where the the Wii box is. Hmmmm. I wonder if the PS3 is in it 🤔 Plan: to put Wii in Wii box and put aside to return to DS.
Little by little I'm reclaiming floor 😊

I had an email from the Freegler who was getting her son to collect tiles tonight - she has decided that she doesn't want them. I showed them to her when she collected the other items - they are beautiful Laura Ashley tiles left over when renovating the downstairs cloakroom. Someone else wants them and is going to collect on Friday evening. I just carried a black sack of rubbish round the corner to put in the SA bin - it is overflowing - needs to be emptied.
The large bag of electrical wires/cables has now gone from the drive.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

DPD collected the rescheduled parcel today. Picture of the rather large box…… So glad it’s out of my hall at last

Decluttered a wash load - dried and ironed, just waiting to put it away after I finish eating this big box of maltesers DH has bought me for my birthday tomorrow. He has fallen asleep watching the TV, better not be for too much longer or there won't be enough for me to share with him
I got the needle and thread out and stitched a label back in place on a towel to be able to hang it back up again and made a new tab to hang up another towel. Also sewn back on a tiny button at the back of the neck on a jumper. Its only been waiting most of the winter. (that's a couple of MMIM's done) Storage for the thread, needles and button, back in the cupboard appropriately.
WUDAPU for today.
DH has finished tidying the back of the house on the patio, it is almost clear of any items it does make it look bigger even though he has reduced the depth of if. This is supposed to be coming up to make way for the extension so not quite sure why he has made such a good job of it. Perhaps it just wont be this year then. I shan't question it.
