Useful information re family research @weenancyinAmerica - I've been at it about 38 years now long before t'internet and all these expensive genealogy sites. Family Search is based on the old IGI records - the first ever available on line and free to everyone. I used to visit the old 'Mormon' family history centres to look at the films on microfilm. Those were the days. They have stuff which is gradually becoming available on line that you can't find elsewhere without a physical visit. Researchers have become too dependent on the main sites but don't realise there are other sources and millions of records as yet unindexed and undigitised. I am a great believer in 'stick something in google' and see what comes out - usually several pages down after the links with paid advertising. I've been down some fascinating rabbit holes following google searches, made some fascinating contacts and shared information.
DS2 car dropped off - this will be expensive. Need to go to tip when it opens and clean kitchen floor.
270 Reminder to contractor that a plumber needs to come check toilet even though rest of work signed off
271 Kitchen cupboard cleaned out and refilled. Some items moved. 2 tins to metal recycling.

I am feeling accomplished. See what can be done if you don’t spend the morning doing online jigsaws.Every scrap of paper in the office scrutinised. 2” pile of paper to be burned/ shredded. All of the office fits with ease into the new container and is safely tucked up in the big drawers.Bathroom window frog eaten. It has never closed properly and always had a force 9 gale whistling through. WD40 and a tweak with a screwdriver. 🤦♀️Toasty bathroom.Another frog will be to change the address on my premium bonds. This is obviously why I have never won a penny in 64 years. That and Mrs SD winning my share.Next frog will be to phone the teddy bear hospital to enquire about my aunt’s bear who has been there since December.109. 4 widths of curtain material

114. Inflatable yoga ball
115. Electrical multimeter
116. Rucksack

We will drop a couple of boxes of stuff at the chazzer this afternoon. Already counted previously.Vx:13 -
Still really busy at work, but the system is slow so everytime I need to wait for it, I run out of my chair to put washing on, put a few things away etc. Hoping I can maximise my time today. Already completed and hung out one load of washing, put another on and have changed all the beds.I've also started getting back privacy online account deletion requests that I did a couple of nights ago. Need to keep going with that never ending frog. I think I may be down to 450 to check (from 500), so it is going in the right direction. I also need to report that the obese frog is finally resolved... only been 2 years! I will try not to do more than 2 in one go as they are all time consuming ones. I'll give myself the weekend off and then add another one in on Monday. I would love to have nothing at all on the list by the end of the year, but we shall see! Any progress is good progress. As I've been busy at work, lots of paper being used up as I think on paper.2412-2421 - emails permanently deleted2422-2427 - online accounts deleted2428 - pen used up2429-2432 - paper (reused, then recycled)2433-2436 - paper (recycled)2437-2439 - cards I can't easily turn into new ones (recycled)2025 decluttering: 3,984🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Feeling for all those here suffering with RL stuff.
Thanks MrsSD for my god star - will try and find a way of recording my success.
Yesterday got a wash load on and some washing got pegged out. Taken back in but certainly not dry.
Got dressed - too many days of not getting dressed till lunch time
Finished reading the book I started this week. Not fit for passing on so has gone to recycling. Have some other books that need to go only a couple of hard backs that will see if the village library wants them. They do recycle the duplicates that they get.
Managed to de fluff my face in a timely manner as I was thankfully delayed by my procrastinations as the meds for DH got delivered just before I started.
Made some bird crumbs for the waifes and strays of tatty birds that come to our garden. Starlings and Rooks, Jackdaws and crows. All very entertaining.
Took some seeds from some cherry tomato's that we have - hopefully to grow some on.
DH WUDUPA
Sorted DH receipt books from SE by removing the confidential pages for fire starter and the rest into recycling. There is a pile at the moment for making into fire starter bits.
Take care all

Hi all, nothing done except loads of text messages to various people. My worrying friend has replied that he is feeling a bit better today which is a relief
@Vulpix, I knew the brother would have to ask for help. Good on you for standing your ground and keeping your sanity. Hope you feel better soon, hugs.
Raining now so the planned garden tidying is off but I have to go to the pharmacy to collect OHs meds. Hopefully back later with more
Take care everyone

My Mum phoned and said my brother wanted me to empty her bedroom so he could sell the bedroom suite. No,soz I am poorly. Oooops. I said I would do what I could when I was better but that she had to tell him exactly what she asks me to do . Under no circumstances will I be accused of stealing from her again.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

@floss2 at a guess because he's the sort of man that thinks the world revolves around him and expects everyone else to do his bidding and he is far too important and busy to do something as menial as that. I might be wrong
. Profuse apologies to all the lovely, hard-working, helpful and understanding men out there

The 4 LPs that were in the car were dropped of at a charity shop. Unfortunately they were having a book sale and I got 2 art books for £1. But at least that's more out than in.....
Wondering now what to do with the milk bottles in my car. We used to regularly get fresh from the farm milk from a vending machine. Step 1 for this was to buy a bottle for £1 which you would then fill for £1. The bottles were always washed ready for refilling but we've stopped buying this milk - suddenly there's less machines about. So I've got 6 lovely glass bottles which I'm storing in the kitchen as well as having some in the car "in case". I don't need them as vases (too many of those) and I can't put them in recycling (they now cost £2 each) but don't know if I left a couple by a vending machine if anyone else would use them. You are all doing amazing with the decluttering and Frog Freeing!
Back from my scan - decluttered a cyst, apparently on my last scan it was very big but has now gone. 2x stomach polyps and both have shrunk since last scan. Different sonographer and was very chatty and explained it all to me which is comforting.
I have started decorating the master bedroom. Both coats of ceiling done and have started painting the walls although took last night off as shoulder hurt and I felt knackered. Good news on the car front - needs 4x fuel injector things and will cost a bit but a heck of a lot cheaper than a newer car. Can't be fixed until end of next week but there is progress so happy with that.
Well done Mr SD for keeping up the walking and for the weight loss. I am hoping to see some weight loss this end. Clothes are a little looser but not been on scales yet because I don't want to be disappointed 😆

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with daily mail immediately
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Thursday was miserable day all day - dark, damp & cold. DH’s walk was a longer one so he didn’t get back until 16:45 having done 8,000 or so steps. I did make the guacamole & somehow managed to time it just right as the avocados were all ripe but not overripe 🙂 DSis went back to coughing more & sneezing less - the newly laundered throw didn’t seem to make much difference 😔 At 18:30 DH went for his 2nd shorter walk via Asda - picked up a couple of bags of tortilla chips (for us rather than the worms 😉) & some tins of chicken soup for DSis - branded as that is the Only one she will eat (£1.70 a tin or 34 shillings in old money 😱 for one can of soup). Dinner was chicken soup for DSis whilst DH & I had the 2nd HF meal - Red Thai style prawn curry with jasmine rice & sugar snaps. Very tasty 🤤Wudupa
654 - 658 Kitchen recycling, 2 newspapers, cardboard box, drinks cans - recycled
659 Kitchen detritus binned
12:30 DH has just gone off on his first walk - it must be cold as he has put on a woolly hat with a bobble 😉 Not one I have knitted though as I don’t do bobbles 😉 DSis’s Oodie has now been washing on a very gentle wm cycle & is now laid flat on the dining room table on top of some sheets of cardboard & a towel 🙂 I will class that as dealing with a 🐸 even if it was DSis’s frog 😉 It is 12:54 & the sun has finally put in an appearance - long may it last 🙂 13:17 & DSis has put in an appearance after having a bath. She is looking a little better & is about to do her washing. She has just had a call from the diabetes nurse & is now in a bad mood 😒
Excellent work decorating the boys room charlies_tribe 👏 Always handy having a family member who can deal with plumbing issues - your dad must be a life saver as well as a money saver 😉
I really should have been more precise vulpix so 👿 is accepted 😉 especially as the worms hate all the sharp edges on tortilla chips 🤣 but I did prove my point that however hard I try my grammatical usage still leaves a lot to be desired 😂
Great decluttering skogar 👏 shame about the J2Os ☹️
Might have been a slow decluttering day Florenceem but you are still 2 days ahead of target 👏
Excellent decluttering diminua 👏 You are definitely braver than I am throwing out so many keys 👏 I would probably go around the house 3 or 4 times testing keys before allowing DH to take them off me & add them to the metals tin for the next Tip trip 😂
Sorry to hear that you have succumbed to ‘the lurgy’ weenancy ☹️everything crossed that it is NOT Covid 🤞 Very useful info for anyone doing their family history 👏 & I see that you are still helping others even though you are unwell 😇 Please take it easier than you normally do 🙏 Hopefully your roommates are pitching in 🤞or is that too much to ask 😉
Liverpool_Anne, I am so very sorry to hear about your friend 😔 Please do not beat yourself up 🙏 You have done & are doing everything you can to help him. Just wish I could do something to help you. Great decluttering 👏 & wonderful observations about the nature of frogs 😊
Excellent decluttering of frogs Dfw38 👏
oceanspirit, Well done on bringing ‘things for best’ into daily use 👏
Sorry to hear that you are still feeling rough vulpix ☹️ Fingers crossed that you get to spend a decent amount of time with DD1 🤞 That IS a monumental decision vulpix - no car boot sale just straight to CS 🤩 Well done on resisting your Mum’s request to declutter her bedroom. Surely if your DB wants to sell the bedroom suite he can get off his a*** & do the decluttering himself 😉 You can do without the stress 🙂
Wow GrannyKate, a pioneer of researching family history & very interesting reminder of the time before internet research 🙂 I remember microfiche - we used it in our office when I first started work. I used to love going off to the quiet room & using the machine 😉 Something quite therapeutic to my mind 😊Great decluttering 👏 Everything crossed that DS2’s car is Not too expensive to fix🤞
🤩 vulpix, you have been busy 👏 Not only a great decluttering session of paperwork but also a household repair 👏 You must be beaming 😁 You never know there might be lots of Premium Bond wins waiting to be sent once you get your address changed 😉 Sorry if I have been winning your share 😉 Poor teddy bear he must have been seriously ill 🤒
QueenJess, the benefit of a slow system is that you can dash around & get a few things done 👏Excellent work decluttering online accounts & dealing with so much paperwork & that obese frog 👏
Great work 2Scratters 👏 & a well trained DH doing the wudupa 🙂 Good luck with the tomato seeds 🍀 Reminds me that I need to clear my kitchen window sill so I can do some seed planting 😉
Liverpool_Anne, pleased to hear that you have managed to contact your friend 😥 Hopefully you can gently persuade him to meet up (just to put your mind to rest)🤞Just as I read that you have rain, the sun went in & it has become very dark & oh yes it has started to rain 😔
Well said Floss 👏
Sounds like you have hit the nail on the head, Liverpool_Anne 😉
Brie, you are excused for buying the art books as 2 items in, 4 items out is still a net gain on your decluttering journey 👏 As to the lovely milk bottles, might be worth a hopefully 🤞 quick phone call to the company that runs the machines🙂
Good news Dfw38 😊 Always reassuring & comforting when a medical professional explains what is happening 🙂 Great work decorating your master bedroom 👏 & well done on taking a rest to allow your shoulder to recover 😊 Pleased to hear that the car repairs will not be as expensive as feared 😮💨Re your weight loss, I think you should just rejoice in looser fitting clothes 😊 & perhaps only weigh in once a month 😉
All caught up with the cheerleading. Now need to find something to do off my frog list 😉 DH just phoned & he is on his way back.
