We're spending the week at my parents' (half-term) and I've just returned midway to spend Wednesday at the office. There are some tasks I need the printer and post room for, and I took the opportunity to take the doll's house with me. It filled the backseat of the car completely!I'm returning to my parents' tonight, husband is coming along. We'll work remotely. My father has been informed that his PSA levels (indicating active cancer cells, as I understood it) have gone up; the Oncologist does not know why, so they have stopped chemo for the moment, and my father will have a fullbody scan sometime next week. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5913

Tidied out the corner cupboard in our living room. Have sorted magazines and took gardening ones to free table in library promoted by G.I.V.E (green island veg) and gave others to neighbours. One of my neighbours likes the knitting patterns and puzzles. Found some craft bits that I have added to boxes that still need sorting.and some crochet patterns that appeared to have strayed from their draw. I am back on the case. 🥳craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with daily mail immediately
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Wednesday & I was up & dressed just before noon 😔 The weather has definitely taken a turn for the worse - overcast, damp & drizzly & colder ☹️ Whilst DH made my first cuppa I put a wash load on. Yesterday’s dry & folded washing has been taken upstairs & put away. Took the time to sort the top 3 shelves in DH’s wardrobe as they were all higgledy piggledy AGAIN 😔 + 2 drawers in CofD = 🐸 1 🙂DH just got a call saying the bike is ready for pick up so he is incorporating his 1st walk on his way to the garage. 13:10 First wash load has finished, left in for an extra spin & now tumble dying. Emailed ex colleague now friend 🐸 2 🙂 DSis is quite unwell at the moment & has spent the last 2 days in her room. Her coughing is now so bad that she has reached the stage of it actually hurting. Just been up to see if she wants a cuppa & she is fast asleep & not coughing 😮💨

Lovely to see you Millie2008_2 👋 No such thing as falling off the decluttering wagon - just a period of readjustment 🙂 Very difficult to devote chunks of time to decluttering when work is so busy & demanding 😥 Remember to count keeping clutter out & putting items away immediately 😉
Excellent decluttering GrannyKate 👏 I intend to be very silly now - shouldn’t the car’s haircut wait until after it has been in the garage 😂
~FlowerPot~, sorry to hear that both you & DD are so unwell 😔 There is a lot of it about but seems to be a lot worse this year - a legacy of Covid I assume & the rather changeable weather ☹️ Very fortunate that DH managed to get the day off work so that DS2 can go to his open day - a bit of bonding time with his dad 😊 Your day of resting on the sofa won’t be a complete loss as you can work on the list of tasks/jobs that DS1 has to complete to make up for missing his driving lesson 😅 Not sure what the minimum wage is nowadays - depends on location & age I believe - so DS1 probably has at least 10 hours of work to do 😉 Thank you for the lovely compliments & my medal 🎖️ - I am still blushing ☺️ Sorry to hear that RL has been so full on but remember you are almost certainly doing more than you think you are 🙂 Every item you put away, every item you stop from coming in & every task/frog you complete is part of your decluttering journey 👏 The time that you & DH have taken to go through your finances so thoroughly is a HUGE decluttering WIN 👏 Worthy of a Gold Star ⭐️ which is on its way 😊 Good luck with Frog Freeing February 🍀 P.S. perhaps one duvet out of the car for DD 😉
2Scratters, first things first, I NEED my fix of buttons so please post a photo 🙏😅 I did just take a few seconds or more to look at your Button Box photo 😉 Now back to cheerleading 🙂 Talk about understatement “…..quite a bit done” really 🤔 I would class yesterday’s decluttering, tidying & sorting as rather more than that 👏You must have been busy all day & working non-stop to get so much done 🥳 One Gold Star ⭐️ is on its way 🙂 & Good luck with ridding yourself of the ‘visiting items’ 🍀
vulpix, it might concentrate Mr V’s mind if keeping the safe means losing vital storage in his studio 😉😅 As to high heeled shoes, I was always in awe of ladies who could do a days work wearing them 🤩
~ FlowerPot~ sounds awful - must be a ‘man cold’ 😉
Excellent decluttering Liverpool_Anne 👏 - another person who had a very productive Tuesday 🙂 I do have to quote this from your post “Also I love the idea of the safe, I am always attracted to things with lots of little draws, I think it's the idea of never knowing what treasure might be found in them” as you have just described me 😂
Siebrie, how lovely for you & your daughters spending time with your parents 😊 Shame that you have had to split your week to go into the office but needs must 😔 I remember how large the dolls house is so no wonder it filled up the entire back seat of your car 😉 I am so very sorry to hear the news about your father & I am sending positive thoughts & good wishes that the oncologist can discover the issue & start remedial actions immediately 🙏
Great decluttering Soontobeoap 👏 you have less clutter & you have made other people happy by gifting magazines - win/win 🥳
Great work QueenJess especially deleting an online account 👏
Excellent decluttering short_bird 👏 & well done on all the sales 👏
15:15 DH has just phoned - he has picked up the bike & is on his way home 🙂
I am caught up again & will find something to do - hopefully a couple more frogs 🤞

Hi all, today has gone well so far
. I put a new soap to use in the bathroom from my stash. It is one of those hand made bars and smells lovely but has a layer of poppy seeds along the side which means I and the bath had to be thoroughly rinsed off and I will probably have poppies growing out of the drain
. I know OH will not be happy with this so have put another bar of soap into the bathroom cupboard. If OH gets as far as looking it will be put into use
.
I have taken the craft stuff and tombola stuff to school and dropped it with the friend who asked for it. I found 2 of the scarves OH gave me were a bit grubby so I took them out and replaced them with 3 more of mineI will give them a wash and see if they are fit to donate.
I called into OHs house to pick up any mail and found some kind person had deposited a broken child's table top in the front garden, put that straight in the bin along with a few other bits of wind blown rubbish. I inspected the back garden and the weeds are starting to appear so I will suggest we spend some time there and OH can get on with some decorating touch ups that need doing and I will do some garden tidying. I expect it will be a couple of weeks before OH has the time or energy for this.
I have collected my meds from the pharmacy, prepped the batter for the pancakes we will have for tea and parceled up a wire that bt have sent a massive plastic bag to be used to send back to them to recycle. The replacement wire arrived about 4 days after the work was done and the engineer used 1 he had in his van. I am lucky I hadn't taken it to the tip as BT sent a text to inform me if I failed to return it they were going to charge meI will take it to the post office tomorrow.
I am going to pop in to see ln in a few minutes but may do some more later
So
365 - 374 8 x boxes of craft paper and card + 2 rolls of vinyl stuff OH had to be used when decorating the car for red nose day.
375 soap put into the bathroom from stash
376- 388 items to the tombola
389 rubbish cleared from front garden at OHs house
390 meds collected
Take care everyone

Managed to return the box to the food bank that we had been given before Christmas - it was full of things that needed to be delivered around the local area and has been in the back of the OH's monster tank ever since. I managed to rid my car of a bag of paint supplies. Self inflicted and completely un-necessary but someone on Freegle was giving art paint and brushes away but included a real rant about "if you say you want them you better collect them as there's so many time wasters". I had replied saying I'd take them and if I didn't want them I'd ensure they went to either my painting group or a charity shop. Turned out there was nothing I could use (all for oils and I do watercolour) so offered them at class and the tutor was thrilled to take the lot. So I can't really claim I decluttered the stuff as it wasn't mine but I do feel good for facilitating helpful disposal.
Now I'm off to the kitchen to declutter a toasted buttered muffin and a mugga tea.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Back home after hectic hours at SA .
Buyer came and paid for the latest item I had put on local selling sites to raise money for SA.
I have a new item listed now.
Lots of washing up to do as we bring it home from SA to recycle.
Off to SA at 6pm for Ash Wednesday.
