933-947: items to card recycling
948-967: items to bin.
968-969: life maintenance tasks ticked off - blood pressure readings to GP (OK given age and pre-existing conditions) and meter readings to the supplier and obviously most of us are in the same boat on that one.
Furniture person visiting early tomorrow to collect the nest of tables and 5 wooden bowls, maybe some more stuff.
Carpet dried out overnight so have been gingerly moving stuff round.

Yesterday found our large cat had something lodged in the side of his head (bigger than another cat claw), appt now tomorrow as he escaped out of his carry case just as about to leave for today's appt, , and DD2 pointed out water coming out from under the bath! Fortunately vet has let me rearrange and my favourite DIY former neighbour, now friend, came to my rescue today and after a battle with the side of the bath found water coming from the corner of the shower screen. DD1 waited for repairs to her flat with no-one turning up (fingers crossed tomorrow) and looking for new place to rent as landlord looking to sell.
Some shredding done
Email to stop stuff being sent to my dad's house
posted some free items
Few email frogs
Booked medical and vet appointments
Leak sorted
Broken glasses case out
Some cardboard boxes out as have collected far too many

Hello
I fell totally off the decluttering wagon when I returned to work (odd what you manage to do with so much free time). Work has been super busy and I have been so tired at night and weekends, but hopefully things will calm down a little soon! A measly 3 items to report (I am sure there have been more though!). Need to get back on track!
144. DD's gilet to friend's daughter
145. DD's Harry Potter hoodie to another friend's daughter (she's been wearing it already, which makes me happy)
146-148 Shoes to charity shop
149 A huge bag of soft plastics to recycling
Love to all, you're all doing so well15 -
Some frogs lined up for the rest of the week.
262 Bag of plastics dropped off at MrT
263 Charity Bag put outside and collected this time (last one was left so I had to take to CS)
264 Meetings papers recycled
265 Renewal letter handed to person who happened to be at meeting so saved cost of a stamp
266 Some paperwork sorted for DS2
Need to have practice drive of DS2's car so will take it to hairdressers in village this morning. Not going far as it needs that service on Friday - only 2 miles to garage. Small people back tomorrow after school until Monday.2025 Decluttering Campaign 733/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Good morning,I am supposed to currently be taking my DS2 up to Warwick Uni for a open day, but I am feeling very rough, hideous cold and headache plus DD now has it and she doesnt cope with being poorly at all. We were awake most of the night as she had a temperature and she has emetophobia so was completetly convinced she would be sick so coldnt sleep just in case and also stressed about being left today if I took DS2 out all day and left her!! Poor love has extemely hugh anxiety all the time but being ill takes her (nadn me!!) nearly over the edge. SO Im having a sofa day off rest, she is now sleeping and DH has taken the day off work to be with DS2.DS1 on the otherhand is having a lie in and did not realise that he had (stupidly) booked a driving lesson for 8.30 this morning he had a lesson on monday lessons are an eye watering £80.00 for 2 hours here! and thought he had booked it for next wednesday. A very expensive mistake! Of which guess whos going to have to pay !🙄🙄🙄 except he is actually going to have to do a lot of jobs around the house to help. Very cross!Anyway only came on here to say 2 things@Mrs_Salad_Dodger i think you are amazing and definetly deserve another medal 🎖️ for you continuous cheerleading and lifting of everyones spirits. You really are a treasure and it does really help keep us going! 😍😍😍and 2 Ive been competetly swept along by RL and all the carp that comes with it and failed to do much real decluttering at all.AND there is a large very heavy bag old duvets in the car boot which the CS would not except and last night when I had to sleep with DD she realised I'd had a clear out of some of her old duvets (she has a double bed now) and now beacuse they are still in the car shes wants hers duvets back !! need to get stuff out of the house and the CAR quicker!!! ~ theres a lesson there! 😜BUT DH and I have been looking at finiances ALOT and sorting pensions and savings account and currents account, its all been looked at which is in itself several very large frogs!🐸Aim for later today is to revisit that list of Frog Freeing February 🐸and see what else I can do as its only 2 ticked off so far!Have a good day everyoneFlowersx♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

Morning Peeps,
yesterday I somehow managed to get quite a bit done, not necessarily all out of the house. Charity bag with a good amount of stuff in.
Stuff from parents house has been sorted with items that are just visitors i.e to be moved on via MP or Tbay. I took pictures and uploaded straight away - fingers crossed for some success.
I sorted straight away the sewing bits threads tidied and put with sewing stuff. Sorted out the needles and pins, they sure won't have a massive impact on being decluttered - chose to make good use of quilt pins as they are to be easier to find as and when dropped on the floor.
I have inherited another 2 large tins of buttons - not as attractive as the original one. One tin has been bagged and sorted into colours, that makes a lot of sense including one with covered buttons. Looks like a job waay in the future. They are all stored together.
Due to posting out a very large parcel of jiffy bags it created quite a space in the cupboard so that too got rearranged and things are fitting in better. (should be going out I'm thinking - but not happening just yet!!)
2 bags went into the loft - remembering the rule of matching what goes in must go out)
Acquired a lovely storage bag from parents so along with a donated small bag of wool from a niece this has been filled with contents from another in the loft and made better use of space.
Did find some boxes to leave and a pair of shoes I have been hanging on to - just because they still fit me but I can't remember the last time they were worn. There is a large bin bag of coat hangers ear marked for coming down and having their picture taken too. Some plastic decanted and created a waste bin for detritus.
Emptied a file box with paperwork from DH self employed days good for fire lighting otherwise it would be shredded but that saves the electric.
DH decided to attack his underwear to find victims for the bin also an Irish wool jumper I ruined, gone. I found a dressing gown and a pair of socks to go.
House is tidier when I look around (always on the hunt for bits to go out)
Things are in the right places.
2 Scratters xx

What a good idea Mrs SD to put the big drawers in the studio. You see another viewpoint is all it takes. Mind you he would have to get rid of actual useful ikea storage to fit in the big but fiddly little drawers that are currently housing things like plasters and keys!
Re the gorgeous shoes, those were the days when I used to do a days work in heels. I also have sitting down heels these days.
Flowerpot, sorry to hear that you have this cold, it's a shocker.
Get well soon everyone who is poorly.
Thank you all for posting,I love to hear what you are all up to. Vx:17 -

Hi all, I have caught up but am in a bit of a rush today to get to school so will be quick
. I was quite productive yesterday, list below, but went to the footy match last night and we were tonked so I was so tired when I got home I fell asleep with my kindle trying to catch up. Luckily I was in bed
@Vulpix re magpies, where I used to work there was a playing field that magpies used to gather about this time of year and I once counted over 40. Also I love the idea of the safe, I am always attracted to things with lots of little draws, I think it's the idea of never knowing what treasure might be found in them
@EnergyShifter, it is years since I have been to Rochester cathedral, amazing art installation. I have been to a few things at the cathedral here and I just love how they use the space in these buildings
So
359 3 x loads of washing on the line and lots dried and put away
360 texts re union issue
361 sm shop and all put away
362 bin bag of hard plastic to the tip
363 broken pan to the tip
364 self care
Got to go and wrestle stuff into the car to take to school. Hugs to everyone who is ill or caring for others. Keep up the great work
Take care everyone
