The shoe disintegration stories remind me of shoes I had to chuck last summer. I love love loved them and had worn them 'fairly' often - by that I mean fairly often for the type of shoes I rarely wear. I'm usually in flatter comfy boots or trainers but if I was going out (rarely) and guaranteed a seat for the evening I 'might' wear these - they also disintegrated sadly. I had had them a fair few years but for 99.9999% of their lives they were in a box. I've kept a photo to remind me of them. Saturday at the parents house went OK, well, better than expected and also collected less than possible. No falling out with each other and each taking what they wanted. (1 Sis is a definite prolific hoarder - the other absolutely throws everything away) It nearly did fill the car.
Not all things stayed in our house as where there were a few items that were gone through again and checked if working or actually needed to go.
Boxes were disposed of too. Minimum stuff has ended up ready to go in the loft.
There are items to be used and not saved for best.
Toiletries were checked fit for purpose those not went. Plenty of UU items, saves spending so win, win.
4 cups in and 4 out. 2 aprons in 1 out.
DH ended up with BN sweat shirt and a Lurpak apron.
DH bravely/kindly suggested my old photos be used in a montage of my life and put on display. May do that when we get the house finished.
2 heritage pans now in stock, am excited about one as it will entail cooking/baking on it as a griddle pan. Must read the instructions
Today
Meds ordered.
Forgot who mentioned the ood jelly, I fed my son one which was actually older than he was at the time of eating it. He would be about 7/8yrs old. As it was a jelly slab I had only made it to see if it still workedand it did. He has lived to tell the story every now and then. Again dates are only a guide.
Car booked in for tomorrow as there are works needed the passenger side wiper arm has stopped working at the weekend. There is an intermittent problem with the hand brake as it has too much travel up sometimes. Also not happy with my front tyres. They were cost effective at the time. Fingers crossed for not too much declutter of too many pennies.
We have both lost an aunt each within 2 days of each other and DH just had a phone call with date and time. Sadly they are both on the same day so we will representing us separately
Will be making use of the TLC carriage soon any one for lemon drizzle cake?

2Scatters - Sorry to hear of sad news.
Been a time of breakages here in last 2 days. I broke a lovely china mug this morning
Mr F knocked one of my egg containers out of the fridge - I think all 9 eggs got broken - baking tonight to use them.
Mr F fell over in the hall this afternoon - he is so clumsy - whatever I have on the floor - he will find and fall over it. The item - a vintage sewing box on legs was not sticking out or in his way.

@daisy_1571 I ❤️ those shoes!
@2Scratters lemon drizzle is my absolute favourite cake!
@Florenceem I hope they do it incredibly slowly as they’ve never got rid of any toys or books or games from when I was a child, so there’s tons rammed up there! They fill the boot up every time they come 😬2025 decluttering: 3,993🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Quiet day today. Downloaded NHS app and trying to follow a weight loss plan. Met a friend I had not seen for a couple of years and had a nice chat. Did some cleaning and washing virtually dried outside. Meeting tomorrow pm so will try to do more cleaning and tidying in the morning.

Another flying visit. DBro remains in hospital (it’s been a month now) but he is improving.Whilst he’s been in there we have started repainting his room. It was on the to do list for this year, it’s just come forward a bit.The troublesome fridge freezer has finally sat down permanently so it’s replacement is coming on Saturday and the old one being removed! Fingers crossed.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)
