Today's brain fog is due to trying to work out a relatively pleasant way of decluttering some of my work clients. I've had too many referrals and no ability to work with the individuals and so must sadly will need to tell them no which will be distressful to some. I don't like causing distress.
Plus I have no time available to do all the necessaries for the clients I'm retaining as I work very limited hours and am trying to focus on him indoors as he needs assistance. Add to that that I need to do all the necessaries before going on holiday in about 2 weeks and also need to plan how I'm going to be scheduling extra staff that I also need to push along into appropriate training.
Wondering now why I agreed last summer to take on a leadership role in a challenging situation instead of just going and working for a corner shop or similar.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Lots of washing done here so don't seem to have got far on the decluttering. However when it is dry there are some things in there that will go. Again not decluttering but a bit more kitchen tidying done.Tip run done (not much but gets rid of a few bits - mostly ones already listed although 3 extras were found.)Some more clothes have ended up in the charity rag pile. Not decluttering but a shoe rack (finally found one that will fit under the hall table) and a new tablecloth (so I actually have one that fits the table!) have been ordered. The table is an extending one. so have cloths that will cover it when we have it extended but not when the leaves are out which is how it is normally. Have been using an aquired one (given when we had a smaller table) which almost covers it but not quite. Hopefully when it arrives I can get rid of the cloths I have been using that don't fit!!Debating on moving some furniture in the back bedroom which should improve the layout.....2024 Fashion on the Ration - 3.5/66.5 coupons remaining1 cardigan - 5 coupons13 prs ankle socks - 13 coupons5 prs leggings - 10 coupons4 prs dungarees - 24 coupons1 cord jacket - 11 couponstotal 63 coupons17

2 more kitchen cupboards cleaned, stock take done of tins and jars. All in date. 🥳. One punctured airbed finally made it into black bin. Dashes in... You know when you move house and however hard you try there's still that time when you're flinging things into bin bags? Well, that's how I am with the carpet cleaner visit tomorrow due to lack of built in storage. Ah well, c'est la vie.
876: item to charity shop bag
877-879: stuff to recycling
880-901: stuff to bin bag
Deferred decisions:
152-160: just unearthed more stuff for collection by the craft recycling folks
And the furniture chap will be calling on Wednesday for at least the nesting tables and the wooden bowls

Very low on decluttering even though there was only one Church service today. Must do better tomorrow.

Evening allWhat a lovely day. Dress pattern cut out. It was lovely to sit in my newly cleaned out summer house and have coffee in the sun. Had an enormous dinner of slow cooked beef skirt, mash, veg all in a giant homemade Yorkshire pudding. It was lush, now sat like a stuffed whale on the sofa catching up.16

Hi, absolutely stunning sun set tonight.3 drawers in tv stand turfed out. Most stuff rehomed to Mr V’s studio. Some things given to our neighbours. 3 bags of mil’s washing almost line dried. Lots of pins deleted from Pinterest. Black bag of fabric to go to SS for rags in his workshop.Curtain watch! The giant curtains I bought from fb have been deconstructed. Each curtain had 3 1/2 widths of fabric and same lining. The fabric lengths are 110 inches long. I am going to make floor length curtains and a door curtain. The linings were grubby so I soaked them in the bathtub with soap powder and bleach. They have had a hot wash and are good to go. I don’t know what to do with all the leftover fabric. Do you think charity shops would want it? I imagine the original curtains would have been 2k to have made. So the sewing machine hasn’t turned a wheel in anger. Soon, soon. What I said earlier about 10 magpies and surprise, my daughter invited me to hers in the Shetlands for some R&R. Can’t wait.Love the wallpaper. Those grey tones in a frieze have a name in French which I can’t remember. Retired in France, help me out?

Would it be - greige? To be honest that word came into my brain but I’m not really sure what it actually is.Like you, I loved the wallpaper.14

Evening all, thank you for all your lovely comments. Both dds love it- much more calming than kiwi crush 😂. We are really pleased how it turned out, especially as I ordered it online in a sale (dun€lm they still have it in but full price now although they also have a green version which looks lovely).
Greige is a colour mix of grey and beige - it was the colour me and dh had in the room before we started decorating for the dds.
I spent the day with dh (who took the day off from his own stuff and I didn't do my training walk) moving beds over into the room. Ds was running around the room just saying 'happy' which he has started doing this week and then climbing onto the ladder of bunk beds saying " 'piderman" 🤭 we have temporarily blocked the ladder off so he cannot climb up and reenact any spiderman manoeuvres tonight.
Just one frog tackled this weekend
🐸 19: washed out all bins.
Thank you for my medal @Mrs_Salad_Dodger. I am having the night off as have a busy day tomorrow- lots of running around to do with ds but no car, luckily he still sits in the buggy (nearly 2) I will certainly get my steps in tomorrow 😬.
Have also joined the weekly flylady thread as keeping on top of the housework feels impossible at the moment. Hope you all have a lovely evening 😊
