UK CPM - new infestation on private estate

Involving your MP to put pressure on the MA is great!
Make sure that the MP's letter and your group residents' complaint is done in the style of the PCM example letter, citing derogation from grant and the L&T Act which the MA has not bothered to comply with. You all have primacy of contract and an expectation of unfettered parking as you have done since 2015. All of you should REFUSE the permit scheme outright and put your names to the complaint.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Many thanks. I was going to ask what is best way to write letter to MP as I have never done so before and have no idea how to get their attention and what to expect back. I will work on that tomorrow using the template.0

Your letter to your MP should be a simple statement of facts, and a request for her/him/they to intervene.
You are a resident of X location. You own/rent/lease a property (delete as applicable) and have had an unfettered right to park in your demised space(s) as per your lease/AST/freehold etcetera for X years.
The MA has brought in an unregulated private parking company that has started issuing parking charge notices with demands for money and threats of court to you and many other residents. This is a derogation of grant as your property rental agreement has primacy of contract over anything an unregulated parking company claims.
Add comments that MPs across all parties have referred to these unregulated companies as rogues, scammers, and bloodsuckers, and Sir Greg Knight MP introduced a private parking bill that received royal ascent in 2019.
Also add that the DHLUC will be introducing a mandatory code of conduct in the near future to curb the excesses of parking companies such as the one that is infesting your residential area.I married my cousin. Cheers guys. I've told any renters I've spoken to that they should contact their landlord as it will affect them and they need to know.
I've had confirmation from a neighbour who has continued to park their two cars outside of their parking bay or their own land, both cars most definitely parked in breach of UKCPM rules and they have not received a single ticket in nearly two months. I have evidence that UKCPM have visited whilst the car was there and did not ticket it as the car is visible in the background of photos they supplied of our car.
The neighbour was completely unaware of the enforcement and surprised to hear about it. Told them to be wary as UKCPM might not be ticketing them now but may decide to one day and they know until at least a week later when tickets start coming in the post. They were happy to join the complaint and as with every other resident I've spoken to so far said the MA is completely useless and has been since they purchased their houses in 2015.2 -

Oh forgot to mention, one potential issue although I am guess it won't matter. The neighbours who have received no tickets said they think that the parking situation has been discussed in recent face to face residents meetings with the management company.
We haven't attended any meetings since we purchased the house, I am only aware of one having taken place since we moved in which was earlier this year and no mention was made about the parking situation before the meeting and in a subsequent letter the MA sent out about that meeting. Only thing mentioned was them apologising about misallocating funds from their accounts towards spending on wrong properties which I think I might have mentioned earlier in this thread.
I presume even if in theory they held a meeting about parking and if 75% of residents in attendance agreed with their proposal that it is not valid unless all residents were given notice and a chance to vote on it?0 -
Yep, the vote has to be communicated to include all those residents with title (not tenants).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hopefully the V5c is up to date especially if not long in the property.2 -

They have lived there for 7 years and owned both cars since before we moved in last year so would assume all is up to date. Is it different if the car is leased? Looking online it says finance provider is registered keeper and owner with leases and would get sent any fines etc. Does that mean potentially their fines are still finding their way from the finance company to them?"..... both cars most definitely parked in breach of UKCPM rules and they have not received a single ticket in nearly two months."
