UK CPM - new infestation on private estate

Sorry forgot to add, we have owned for year and a half.0

Also no one has ever complained to us nor has the MA ever mentioned any complaints to us regarding our parking or anyone else on the estate. They mention the parking being "abused" in their first letter where they bring the idea of parking enforcement at the end of last year. That to me would suggest complaint was about another road in the estate nearby shops that I guess might be being used by non residents. Which now I think of it is also possibly why they were seemingly looking at a permit solution at that time.0

Solution? No.
You need to rally the neighbours. The residents should NEVER have let this happen. Stop it now. Your properties will also be likely to lose value due to the blight. Some people would never even look at a property infested by a PPC.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ok will do thanks. What is best way to reach neighbours? Think there is about 50 plots on the estate, some are flats. I only knew few in my road. Best to drop notes in letterboxes or go door to door? What is best approach at convincing people who aren't convinced to get rid?0

Leaflet drop to kick it off. Set up a 'closed' WhatsApp or Facebook page where you can share thoughts and ideas. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Great thanks for the advice, leaflet was the route I was planning to take to try get in touch initially as I only know couple of neighbours. Hopefully there is some sort of group or communication going on already. MA said others had complained about parking enforcement and they weren't going to do anything about it.1

Writing a letter now to pop through letterboxes. Just wondering if there is anything I should or shouldn't say? I guess my letter might end up in the hands of someone who wants these restrictions and might work against me so wondering if I should leave anything out and save for when we have a group of like minded residents communicating over Whatsapp or similar?1

Put a link to this thread and say you intend that residents should urgently put their names to and send a letter to the MA in the style of the one I posted a link to (the PCM case).
Give them a WhatsApp group to join from their armchairs and they will...I reckon you will be astonished by the interest, loads of people all fuming but not knowing what to do.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Also advise each and every resident to complain to their MP. Don't suggest a template or a petition. Each complaint needs to be bespoke.
You can add this link which is dead easy to use.

Hi guys thanks once again for replies.
I have spoken to two neighbours and learned that one has received 8 tickets so far, all issued before the notice for the first arrived in the post. All for parking in an area they have parked in for 7 years without any complaints or issues. They said they didn't know what to do. I have pointed them this way and said I am happy to help them too with whatever advice I can give. They have had the exact same experience as me, no response to their queries to the management company about the parking enforcement being introduced.Neighbour on the otherside was also in support but is rental tenant so I asked them to pass their landlord my details to get in touch. They also mentioned another neighbour had possibly been told by UKCPM they are ok to continue parking on shared land outside their property in an unmarked space, as they have been doing since they moved in in 2015. He said they hadn't mentioned receiving any parking tickets so far. Funnily enough the evidence photos for one of our tickets shows their car in the background parked outside of their bay, proving that UKCPM aren't enforcing their own rules and just making it up as they go along.
I have written the letter to neighbours and plan to print out as many copies as I can ASAP and start putting through letterboxes and around the estate. Once I get responses I will be setting up a Whatsapp group to rally everyone. Will also draft letter to MP soon and add that to advice on my letter I will be dropping off.
Thanks again!3
