how long do you need to leave it between free trials before signing up againJan Grocery challenge
Budget £350 - Spent £64.45 to date0 -
I have just finished a 3 month trial and would rate them highly. I would say in the three months I watched over 30 films some good and some bad. i cancelled the trial with no problems and never spent a penny so all in all seems like a good deal0

I might be daft... however, just signed up and it's not really clear on how they send you dvds.
I know you create a list of at least ten - and then do they just start sending you disks? I thought there might have been a button to get started ie: send me disks or submit or something.
So you just create your lists and wait?

:hello:,
They will mail you to say your account has been activated, you create the list of 10 dvds you want to see, and wait for them to despatch the films, they will mail you directly to say when a film has been despatchedI know this as I recently did a 3 week trial with them

Quite frankly AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR SANITY!!!!
Quite agree - I took advantage of their free trial. And I could not cancel for the want of trying.
All my calls went unanswered, emails ignored. I kept leaving messages (as their lines went unanswered), to which I'd get home to a message asking me to call them back and confirm cancellation. (I can't take personal calls during the day); So starting a never ending circle of messages.
So in the end I reported my credit card as lost to stop the payments. Changed my address on their site to their own address, and put a spam blocker on their email address.
Worst firm ever! Bunch of cheating cowboys!
Good riddance. And now they've taken over Amazon DVD rental.
So I've jumped ship from Amazon before they completed and went to Blockbuster - so far so good!A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0 -
I was thinking of joining but the difficulty of cancelling is worrying me. Some people are say it's as easy as clicking a button online, others are saying you have to phone but they never answer0

I am on my third free three month trial with them and they have always been great. I've never had a problem cancelling - the first time i had to call to cancel which was easy and dealt with straight away and the second time I cancelled online. The turn around for new discs has always been good and I've never been sent incorrect or faulty discs. I would recommend them0

If you want to cancel online then you seem to have to wait until after 10pm else they'll try to get you to phone.
And then they do make you confirm that you want to cancel on a couple of screens that follow. But it's not difficult - just annoying.
I found them okay (just finished a 3 month free trial) but I must say that they don't seem to actually read any emails that you send - seems to be a matter of scanning, looking for a flag word and sending out a generic email at times... Strangely I haven't had a reply about that mail....0
