    Morning all,

We have received our first proper interest payment on our new Virgin savings account today which was £239.95 so that is a nice little bonus to put towards our goal and makes me even more determined to add as much money as I can into the savings account so we can keep gaining a nice amount of "free money" to help climb our mountain :)  :)

Hubby went back to work at 3am this morning but will be home the early hours of Saturday before heading off to his training course for 7 and a half weeks on Sunday. Sadly he will not be getting paid any extra for the extra hours he will be away whilst he is on the course but once completed it should mean a payrise so in the long term it will be worth it even though it will no doubt be hard. I plan on keeping myself busy and setting myself a challenge of how much I can add to the savings in that time. I am setting the target at £2500 (just over £350 a week) so we shall see how I get on. The hours at my work will be dropping during that time so it may not be possible but you know me - I love a challenge

It's a chip shop day for me today with both a lunchtime and evening shift so that really does not allow me much time to do anything else so I'm going to be realistic and keep my list short again so I don't burn myself out and can instead take time to rest and relax :)

    So today I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 point target) - 2 points so far today :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE two videos available for a total of 16p :)
    3. Chip shop Shift (12pm - 2.30pm) - DONE charging until 2.45pm as finished at 2.40pm and started work 10 mins early :)
    4. Chip Shop Shift (4.30pm - 9.30pm) - DONE finished at 9.20pm so not sure if it will count as 9.30pm (it will if I have a say in it :)
    5. Post off Nail Planner for Etsy order - DONE :)
    6. Send proofs for Nail planner for a different Etsy order
    7. Collect prescriptions for hubby from Drs - DONE this will save having to pay postage to get them to him :)
    8. NSD - DONE :)
    Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.02

    Morning all,

I've woken up with a headache from hell so don't think I will be up to doing much if I'm honest which is a shame as I am not in the chippy until 4.30pm and I hoped to work on my business and try and do things which in the long run will help to build up our OP savings account. I shall just have to see how I feel and hope it will clear. I've shoved a banana down my throat and also drunk a glass of orange juice as I know I have not been too good with fruit and veg recently due to a lack of time (hubby cooked gammon when he was home as dinner one night but nothing else to go with it!) so fingers crossed that will help. I'll also try and take better care of myself these next few days (Bailey's I can hear you in my head telling me to rest and stay hydrated ;) )

Both kids are feeling full of lurgy too so I guess they may have passed it to me - I thought those days were gone now neither of them are at little schools anymore but I guess not!

It is payday from Burger King today (I sense this may be the last one as I have not had any hours for the past three weeks) so I shall transfer that into the savings account today to at least make me feel like I am doing something to help us with the climb up the mortgage mountain :) I have to be honest I am struggling to fit all my jobs into the week now so I am not that bothered to lose Burger King as it is the one which is the hardest work and what I enjoy least so I am just going to wait and see what will happen. I also need to sit down today and try and swap some shifts where I have clashes. Not too sure how I will be able to play it but I shall try and work something out.

Other than that I am just going to potter around and take the doggo out for a little walk as it will be good for both of us :) It's so cold here on the Broads today though - I have my fluffy socks and oodie snoodie thing on so we may not enjoy it as much as we really should ;)

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - 22 points so far :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE watched two videos for a total of 16p :) My cashpot is up to £8.44 so I'm getting closer to another payout :)
    3. Transfer Burger King wages into OP savings account - DONE £100.10 transferred :)
    4. Try and shuffle / swap shifts for work clashes for next few weeks - managed to swap Monday and Tuesday at new cafe for Thursday and Friday but struggling for Wednesday :(
    5. Print, bind and post off nail planner for Etsy order
    6. Comment on in search of posts to hopefully get a few orders - commented on two so far :)
    7. Schedule social media posts for next week
    8. Take doggo for a walk - DONE :)
    9. Check freepostcode lottery
    10. Complete Prime Opinion survey
    11. Tidy craft room to see if I can find missing heart dies (just in case they are hiding in here)
    12. Renew items on FB Marketplace
    13. Post in a facebook group to try and drum up more sales
    14. Take a course from one of my memberships
    15. Design one new card making sheet for membership idea
    16. Chip shop shift (4.30pm - 9.30pm) - DONE managed to finish at 9.15pm :)
    17. NSD - DONE :)
That little lot should keep me out of trouble for a while.

  • Sorry to hear all three of you are feeling unwell. As I was reading about your headache I was thinking, I wonder if crafting is dehydrated (I am obsessed), both the orange juice and banana will help restore your electrolytes and help you to rehydrate. I hope your headache disappears very quickly 🤗

    Thanks Baileys.
The kids are feeling much better today and my headache has almost gone but I do feel full of congestion so think I may be coming down with a cold :( I'll make sure I keep my fluids up and eat another banana and drink fruit juice again today :)

    Good morning :)

The sun is shining and apart from feeling congested I feel much better than yesterday so lets see what I can achieve today  <3

I have picked up a lunchtime shift at the chippy today as well as my evening one so that will add a bit of extra money to the pot next week and hubby has told me our investments are doing well this month so far so as long as they continue (or even stay as they are and not go down) this will give us a nice chunk towards one of the mortgages in a few years time :)

Other than work nothing else exciting planned for today apart from trying to spend a few hours at least with hubby before he disappears off for his 7 week training course :(

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - DONE 62 points so far :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE watched two videos for a total of 16p :)
    3. Print, bind and post off nail planner for Etsy order
    4. Reply to tag enquiry with prices and hope I get the order
    5. Comment on in search of posts to hopefully get a few orders
    6. Schedule social media posts for next week
    7. Take doggo for a walk with hubby  - DONE :)
    8. Chippy lunchtime shift (12pm - 2.30pm) - DONE and was an extra 15 mins so finished at 2.45pm :)
    9. Check freepostcode lottery - DONE not a winner :(
    10. Complete Prime Opinion survey
    11. Tidy craft room to see if I can find missing heart dies (just in case they are hiding in here)
    12. Renew items on FB Marketplace - DONE 18 listings renewed :)
    13. Post in a facebook group to try and drum up more sales
    14. Take a course from one of my memberships
    15. Design one new card making sheet for membership idea
    16. Chip shop shift (4.30pm - 9.30pm) - DONE :)
    17. NSD (other than petrol and a bit of food shopping) - DONE did spend over £100 on food and petrol though as was needed :(

    Good afternoon,

Sorry I'm later than usual today because I have to be honest I struggled to get up and ended up having to rush to get to work on time so I had no time to post - my bed was just so comfy ;)

I have completed my cafe shift for today and hubby is now making the long journey to Scotland ready for his 7 week course so I have a very quiet house (apart from the dog snoring) as both kids are at work until this evening so I have a few hours to sit and do anything I want. I want to try and work on my business but there is also a very good chance that I may just sit down and watch some cheesy tv show and eat chocolate so I will have to see what happens :)

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - 2 points so far :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE watched two videos for a total of 16p :)
    3. Cafe shift (9am - 1pm) - DONE ended up being until 2.15pm so that will be a bit extra for the pot :)
    4. Submit hours to new cafe in order to get paid today - DONE :)
    5. Print, bind and post off nail planner for Etsy order
    6. Pay in chip shop wages and transfer to savings account - DONE £141 added :)
    7. Reply to tag enquiry with prices and hope I get the order
    8. Look at new memberships bought for business and see whether to claim money back under 7 day guarantee
    9. Comment on in search of posts to hopefully get a few orders - commented on two :)
    10. Schedule social media posts for next week
    11. Take doggo for a nice long walk - DONE :)
    12. Check freepostcode lottery - DONE not a winner :(
    13. Complete Prime Opinion survey

    16. Take a course from one of my memberships
    17. Design one new card making sheet for membership idea
    18. Make something using charms and crystals found in crafting stash
    19. NSD - DONE :)
