Thank you for your lovely comments. Honestly even after the shift from hell yesterday I cannot stop smiling :) I am the happiest I have felt for a long time :)

Happy Mother's Day to all the mums. I was truly blessed. I got in from work yesterday to find two beautiful bouquets of flowers from my kids, a box of chocolates and a lovely note from my son. Both of them are working today too so we celebrated yesterday and I enjoyed a lovely mac n cheese cooked by my daughter for dinner. It was perfect.

I didn't achieve much at all yesterday but that has not put a damper on my good mood. I'm learning that any progress is progress no matter how small and sometimes that progress is listening to your body and knowing when to rest :)

I'm at work at the cafe again today and not looking forward to it as we had till problems yesterday so I will have to try and sort it out this morning with the IT guys (and IT and Sundays do not really mix)! On the plus side it is due to rain later so hopefully I will have a quieter day than yesterday as I fancy an easy shift ;)

Right, better get on with my list as have to leave for work very soon.

    So Today I will:-

    1. WeR8 - DONE watched 8 videos for 48p :)
    2. Mistplay - DONE played for 15 mins and earnt 2 points :)
    3. Cafe job (7 hours) - DONE 6.75 hours) It was so quiet until the last 15 minutes before we closed :(
    4. Answer questionnaire for husbands claim
    5. One Prime Opinions survey - 10 points earnt from voting in a survey :)
    6. No heating on until at least 7pm
    7. Continue designing a cardmaking download (my happy place)
    8. Answer enquiry on FB business page
    9. Write some social media posts to advertise my business
    10. Eat at least 5 portions of fruit/veg - ate a banana for lunch and dinner had chicken wraps with lettuce, cucumber and peppers so that is 4/5 today so far :)
    11. Check freepostcode lottery
    12. NSD
    Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.02

    Hi everyone,

I'm still working away but I'm also enjoying my days off and resting after work so not got much interesting to post at the moment :)

I did get paid from my cafe job today though so have added £995 into our retirement savings pot :)

I have finally read all of your diary! 😊

I’m really impressed by how hard you’ve both worked to clear all those mortgages, seriously impressive 🤩👏 I love how you and your husband are so aligned with these goals, midlife crisis car aside 😉

I am also struck by hardy you are by leaving the heating off for so much of the time. 👏
