Hope puppy feels better soon! If she's anything like ours, she's probably eaten something she shouldn't have done and will be fine in a day or two x

Why do you want to get out of your works meal? I'd go for it, regret what you do and not what you don't do!

Hope pupper is feeling better soon, I seechicken rice and egg in their future !  We knew the boy was feeling better when he started picking out tge chicken and leaving the rice.  Being a German shepherd with 'gsd sensitive tummy' we had many, many bouts of tummy upsets over the years.

    Sending doggy (not dodgy) hugs

  • Why do you want to get out of your work meal?

You must have been quite relieved when your hours for today were cut back.

I hope your dog makes a full and swift recovery 🤗
Thank you. Doggo is still not right but I think she is getting so am trying to hold off another vets visit for a few more days if I can.

I was very happy that the hours were cut - I am feeling a bit poo pooed with all these 50 hour working weeks :(

I think my anxiety got the better of me for a while about the works meal but I went and I had a lovely night - even if I did pay £14 for a dessert!!!

Thanks lovely - she certainly has a habit of eating things she shouldn't.

Her tummy has still, not settles fully but it is much better than it was so fingers crossed she will be back to normal soon.

You were right about the meal - I went and had a really lovely evening :)

    Thank you x

    Thanks Daisy.

Chicken and rice seems to be a meal for her often these days and she is still on it and wolfing it down so at least that is a good sign. Tummy is still a bit dodgy but nowhere near as bad as it was so I am guessing that Italian Mastiffs must have sensitive tummys also :)

Doggy hugs are always welcome so thank you but you can deffo keep your dodgy hugs to yourself :)

Morning all from this officially 50 year old :)

Sorry for no post yesterday but I spent my birthday working a 9 hour shift in the new cafe and then celebrating with my work colleagues at the very expensive pub. You were all right I had a really lovely evening even if I did spend £14 on a dessert!!! Honestly it was just great so I'm glad I did not let my anxiety about going get in the way. thank you for all your support x

I have another busy day of work ahead of me (I bet you are all surprised by that ;) ), although my cafe shift could be cut a bit I think (and actually hope as the two jobs overlapped by half and hour so I would have been late for the second one again) so hopefully should not be as long as first planned. I then have the chippy in the evening so I cannot wait to see what happens with the nightmare boss tonight. Fingers crossed he is in a good mood :)

Now I have turned 50 it means I only have 5 more years before I want to be mortgage free. I have worked out that I need to add at least £2116 a month from now until then to the savings in order to achieve my goal. That actually sounds doable so fingers crossed we might even make it earlier and we can both retire and enjoy life a bit very soon :) I am determined to get them cleared so we don't have to worry about owing that money anymore.

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE watched four videos for a total of 30p :)

  • I'm glad to hear you went to your Birthday meal, belated happy birthday by the way.

Your list is somewhat over ambitious, especially considering you are working 10 hours plus commuting, be kind to yourself.

    Thank you Baileys x

You were right again - slightly ambitious as always from me. I chose to be kind to myself and I'm not beating myself up for not getting much done other than work :) I've got a day off today and I am using it for some self care :)
