It has gone so quickly yet at the same time it feels like time stood still for so much of it.Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
Sorry no time to post yesterday as I ended up doing more hours at the new cafe as the owners mum is at end of life care and he had to dash off Tuesday to be with her so I opened up and closed by myself. I have to admit to being exhausted so other than my cafe shift I achieved nothing else yesterday
Hubby is coming home for the next three weekends which will be lovely. It feels like so long since we saw him last but it also means I really need to get on top of the housework as it has been neglected whilst I have been working so many hours
I have a shift at the original cafe from 9am - 4.30pm but I am also determined to get some other bits done too. Especially as the dog and my bladder woke me up an hour earlier than usual
So today I HOPE I WILL:-- Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - 2 points so far

Morning
I have just got back from taking daughter to work and there was ice on the windscreen! I am refusing to put the heating on yet though so everyone can wear their oodie snoodies and wrap blankets around them
I am picking hubby up from the airport at around 4pm today so I feel very excited but am also hoping my son will clean the kitchen like I asked him too as it is a bit of a pigsty at the moment! I am at work in a little while so that will keep me busy for most of the day.
I feel like we do not seem to be making much progress at the moment but hopefully all the little things we are doing will all add up and enable us to take a few more baby steps along our mountain road. That said it was interest payment day yesterday on our new savings account so that has given us another £245.54 to add to our OP savings pot.. I love interest as it feels like "free" money as I don't have to work loads of hours and really hard to get it
As we are all home together tonight (which these days is a rarity) I think we shall have a takeaway for dinner. We shouldn't really as the bank account seems quite low this month but hey ho we all need a little treat sometimes I thinkGood news on the dress for me for daughters graduation too - I found one on Amazon for the grand total of £18 and it fits really well and actually looks lovely - the quality is great

I agree that feeling interest is free money, it encourages me to look for the best places to put our money. Ours is all earning between 4.5% - 10% interest, depending on the account it is in and how soon or frequently I would like to access it.
Have a lovely time with hubby when he is home. How long is he back for?

Morning all,
It's freezing here on the Broads today (even with my oodie snoodie and slippers on) so I have had to admit defeat and turn the heating on for half an hour just to take the chill away
Hubby goes back to his course at 2pm today so I intend to spend the morning in his company taking the pooch for a nice long walk on the beach. It has been lovely seeing him but it has gone so quickly.
It does mean however that once I have got back from the airport run and taken daughter to work I will have a few hours to crack on with a list so:-
So today I HOPE I WILL:-- Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - DONE 107 points earned today
- Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE watched two video for a total of 16p
- Beach walk with hubby and doggo - DONE walked from one village to the next (so about 10 miles in total). It was lovely and we stopped off at bakery on way home which was very enjoyable but not good for number 14 on my list
