Morning all, I won't say good morning as frankly it is horrible weather here on the Broads today. It is throwing it down with rain and blowing a houlie as they say.
I have a day off today as does my daughter so we are going to venture into the City and spend some time together which will be nice. The new cafe has decided to change the uniform to just black tops instead of the logoed polo shirts so I need to pick some up so I can wear them from next week. I'm hoping Primark will have some cheap as I don't want to spend a fortune on them.

Doggo also seems to be feeling a bit better and her stomach seems to be heading back in the right direction even though it is still not fully back to normal so fingers crossed I have made the right decision to hold off on another costly visit to the vets for now :)

I've not really got any other plans other than to try and stay as dry as possible so I'm planning to just rest and relax as much as I can (hope you are pleased with me Baileys ;) .

I'll add a list but I won't beat myself up if I don't get anything crossed off on it :)

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - 22 points so far :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE watched four videos for a total of 30p :)
    3. Send invoice for repeat sticker customer - DONE :)
    4. Print, bind and post jewellery planner for Etsy order
    5. Reply to tag enquiry with prices and hope I get the order - DONE :)
    6. Find black tops for work as cheap as possible - DONE found long sleeved tops for £4 each and t shirts for £2.50 :) Also managed to find another pair of work trousers for just £6 :)
    7. Comment on in search of posts to hopefully get a few orders
    8. Schedule social media posts for next week
    9. Check freepostcode lottery - DONE not a winner :(
    10. Complete Prime Opinion survey
    11. Tidy craft room to see if I can find missing heart dies (just in case they are hiding in here)
    12. Post in a facebook group to try and drum up more sales
    13. Take a course from one of my memberships
    14. Design one new card making sheet for membership idea
    15. Make something to sell using my crafty stash
    16. Renew facebook marketplace listings

  • Have a lovely day with your daughter.

Enjoy your day off and don't think about your list.

It is a shame the cafe hasn't said you can wear your existing purple branded tops or plain black, then you wouldn't need to buy anything. It seems such a waste to stop using the purple tops, do you know why they have changed their mind?

    Thanks Baileys.

I took your advice and just enjoyed a lovely day out with our daughter. We had a really nice day and she even treated me to a posh hot chocolate from Costa. I don't usually go into places like that as I'm too tight to pay £5 for a drink so it was a real treat :)

Who knows why the cafe has changed the uniform - it's a bit of a pain but I just do what I'm told ;)

    Morning all,

I had a really lovely day yesterday with our daughter and managed to pick not only new work tops but also two more pairs of work trousers at a reasonable cost so I am a happy chunky bunny :)

The interest has finally hit the other savings account which means in total we have earned just over £550 in interest alone this month which also makes me very happy. I look at it as free money as it requires little effort to earn :) As all three mortgages are on fixed rates until at least next year, I'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed that interest rates don't drop too much before that time as this will really help us towards our mortgage free mountain climb :)

It is also payday at the chippy today so there will be a bit more coming my way tonight as well. I have also picked up an extra two and a half hour lunchtime shift at the chippy today as well as my 5 hours evening shift as I thought I may as well grab it whilst it is on offer as after next week I will be down to just one day a week there with no lunchtime working at all. Every penny counts right? And I can rest come November ;)

Other than the chippy shifts, I have nothing else planned for today (I think I've had enough excitement for one week!) so I'll add some things to my To Do List and see of I can actually get anything done (if I don't I will be happy with just working the 7 and half hours at the chippy I think) :)

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - 2 points so far :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE watched five videos for a total of 39p :)
    3. Get three loads of washing dry outside whilst sun is shining - 1st load on line, 2nd load in washing machine :)DONE - All three loads nicely dry :)
    4. Print, bind and post jewellery planner for Etsy order
    5. Print and post off stickers for repeat customer
    6. Chip shop shift (12pm - 2.30pm) - DONE :)
    7. Chip shop shift (4.30pm - 9.30pm) - DONE :)
    8. Comment on in search of posts to hopefully get a few orders
    9. Schedule social media posts for next week
    10. Check free postcode lottery
    11. Complete Prime Opinion survey

    Morning all,

A quick post from me before I head off to the cafe for my shift :)

I don't feel like I achieved much yesterday but I'm not gong to beat myself up about it as I did managed two shifts which will add money into the pot next week and that is the main aim so I'm happy :)

Good news on the doggo front - her poops are back to normal so I'm really glad I didn't waste money on another vets visit. Fingers crossed they stay that way and she doesn't eat something she shouldn't again :)

I'm adding almost the same list for today as yesterday and hope I can cross a bit more off but again if I don't then I will not feel too guilty :)

Hope you all have a lovely Sunday x

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE watched six videos for a total of 47p :)
    3. Get two loads of washing dry outside whilst sun is shining - one load dry but the kids did not hang out the second load so that is now hung up around the house and I'm hoping it will dry quickly :(
    4. Pay in chippy wages and transfer to OP savings account
    5. Transfer new cafe wages into OP savings account - DONE transferred £103.50 :)
    6. Print, bind and post jewellery planner for Etsy order
    7. Print and post off stickers for repeat customer
    8. Cafe shift (9.30am - 5pm) - DONE :)

  • Good evening,

A late post from me today as I have not long finished a 9 hour shift at the new cafe and just got back from taking the doggo out for a walk.

I am exhausted so am only going to post a very short list today as I am going to be kind to myself and relax this evening. Jacket potatoes are in the oven so I once those are done, other than taking the dog out for her pre-bedtime wee wee, I am not intending to move off the sofa until it is time to go to bed myself :)

    So today I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - DONE 27 points :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE watched five videos for a total of 37p :)
    3. Cafe shift (9.00am - 6pm) - DONE :)
    4. Meal plan for rest of week

    Good morning,

I cannot believe that it is October already. This year seems to be flying by :(

It's another wet and cold day here again on the Norfolk Broads so it will mean that the cafe is either really busy from people trying to keep warm and dry or it will be dead quiet. I sort of hope it is busy as my shift yesterday really seemed to drag on. Only 9 hours to get through again today before I can have a little rest. I also need to try and shuffle some days around as I have a lot of clashes coming up which I hope I can sort as I only have this month to get through before things will settle down as the original cafe and chippy shifts will be scaled back considerably now that the holiday season is over.

I feel much better for my rest I gave myself yesterday so am raring to go again today with lots of little things which, in the long term,  will hopefully help us achieve our mortgage free mountain climb goal :)

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) = 2 points so far :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE watched five videos for a total of 36p :)
    3. Pay in chippy wages and transfer to OP savings account - DONE £123.63 added :)
    4. Print, bind and post jewellery planner for Etsy order
    5. Print and post off stickers for repeat customer
    6. Make and post off cross in my pocket for Etsy order - made will package and post off tomorrow :)
    7. Cafe shift (9am - 6pm) - DONE although I finished 15 minutes early :)
    8. Meal plan for week - DONE no more shopping required hopefully as lots in freezer already :)
    9. Look to see if I can find house insurance cheaper than quote from existing provider
    10. Comment on in search of posts to hopefully get a few orders
    11. Schedule social media posts for next week

    Morning,

I'm feeling a bit down and disheartened today as we received a nearly £6k tax demand for hubby in the post yesterday :( It feels like we are both working all hours to try and make a better future not just for us, but mainly our kids, and all we do is pay a fortune in tax. I wouldn't mind but when we have my friend who has never worked a day in her life and always relied on benefits, who, every day is doing something exciting like Kayaking or more recently going to Harry Potter World and to see the Abba concert, I sort of feel like I am slogging my guts out to pay for her to have her wonderful lifestyle. She has not a care in the world :(  Winge over. It is what it is and I will be getting hubby to phone the tax office to see if he can get it checked to make sure we do actually owe the money before handing it over!.

Anyway onwards and upwards. I have another 9 hour shift at the cafe today so won't have time for lots I don't think but as usual I will be very optimistic and post a long list of things I really need to get done and then beat myself up later about how little I actually achieved ;)

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) = 2 points so far :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE watched five videos for a total of 36p :)

    17. NSD -  had to spend £3 on parking as had to visit A & E as thought son might have broken his wrist after falling at college - luckily they do not think it is :)

    Morning all.
The sun is shining and my mood is feeling better today (despite having a 10 hour shift in front of me) :)
Hubby is in my bad books though as he has copped a £50 fine for driving in a bus lane - I am not happy with him at all!!!

Realistically I know I will not get much done today as I first have a 5 and a half hour !!!!!! at the original cafe and then a 5 hour shift at the chippy so that will take up the majority of my day I think but in true crafting style I will go ahead and make a long list of all the things I need to do only to fail and achieve 3 if I'm lucky  :p:p:p

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) = 2 points so far :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE watched one video for 6p :)
    3. Print, bind and post jewellery planner for Etsy order - printed, bound and packaged but run out of time to post :(
    4. Print and post off stickers for repeat customer
    5. Package and post off cross in my pocket for Etsy order - packaged but run out of time to post :(
    6. Cafe shift (11am - 4.30pm) - DONE finished at 4pm as was quiet and needed to get to chippy shift :)
    7. Chippy shift (4.30pm - 9.30pm) - DONE finished at 8pm as was quiet so was sent home early :(
    8. Look to see if I can find house insurance cheaper than quote from existing provider - looked into but cannot sadly beat the quote provided :(
    9. Comment on in search of posts to hopefully get a few orders
    10. Schedule social media posts for next week
    11. Check free postcode lottery - DONE not a winner :(
    12. Complete Prime Opinion survey

I think but in true crafting style I will go ahead and make a long list of all the things I need to do only to fail and achieve 3 if I'm lucky  :p:p:p

You have already achieved the first 2:
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) = 2 points so far :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE watched one video for 6p :)
Your 2 work shifts will give you a further 2
    1. Cafe shift (11am - 4.30pm)
    2. Chippy shift (4.30pm - 9.30pm)
Then you could always try for one of the easier wins:

            Check free postcode lottery
                                  or
            NSD

That would make a good amount from your legendary over ambitious list completed, including earning for 10 hours and commuting.

Anything you manage today will be fantastic.
