Sorry to hear your daughter isn't contributing to the household either physically or financially. I find this sad and I do wonder how she is going to cope when she leaves home.
I know I need to give her some tough love but a=at the same time I don't want to push her further away from me as she seems to be slipping further every day :(

    Parenting is hard :(
    I agree parenting is hard.

What does hubby say about your daughter not contributing to the running of the house?
He whines about it to me but does not actually say anything to our daughter - she is the apple of his eye

    Morning all,

I've got a busy day today with an 7 hour shift at the cafe and then a 4 and a half hour shift at the chippy. Realistically I think that is all I will have time for but I'll add a list anyway as that is how I roll and I seem to like beating myself up when I don't achieve very much  :p

    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - 27 points so far :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8
    3. Print, bind and post off nail planner for Etsy order
    4. Post off Open When envelopes for repeat customer on Etsy
    5. Comment on in search of posts to hopefully get a few orders
    6. Look for cheaper mobile tariff for me as out of contract on 15th September
    7. Check freepostcode lottery
    8. Complete Prime Opinion survey
    9. Cafe Shift - DONE 9am - 6.15pm :)
    10. Chippy shift - DONE 6.30pm - 9.30pm :)
    11. NSD - DONE :)

Which makes it even harder for you. Have you pointed out to him how this is going to have a negative impact on her in the future and by allowing her to continue he is doing her a disservice.

I have but he never listens. I will have to sit down with him again and try and get him to see I think.

    Hello :)

Its another double shift day for me today but I have a day off tomorrow so I'm staying focused on that to keep me going :)
I can hear Bailey's and her self care tips in my ear so I'm going to be realistic again today and keep my list nice and short :)

It is also payday at the chippy so that will be a nice end to a very busy working week and remind me why I'm putting myself through all this ;)

    So today I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 point target) - 22 points so far today :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE two videos available for a total of 16p :)
    3. Cafe Shift (9am - 2.30pm) - DONE :)
    4. Chippy Shift (4.30pm - 9.30pm) - DONE ended up not finishing until 9.45pm :)
    5. NSD - DONE :)

Good morning everyone. I've made it to Sunday :)

I intend to enjoy my day off today as I feel like it's been hard earned :) I have to get two Etsy orders made and despatched but other than that no real plans at all. There is a little craft and family fun day on at a nearby village which I would like to go too so hoping I can persuade hubby to come along too and we can take the doggo and enjoy some time all together :)

I only have a few more days before hubby has to go away for work for just over two months so want to try and spend some time with each other before then. The good news is that once he finishes this course then his wages will increase a little bit so it is for the greater good :)

Got paid from the chippy yesterday and they rounded up my wages as they had no change again so gained a little bonus of £1.75 - every penny counts right ;)

It should also be payday from the new cafe today as well so I'm looking forward to receiving that and getting it safely deposited into the savings account to start earning interest for me :)

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - 22 points so far :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE watched two videos for total of 16p :)
    3. Pay in chippy wages and transfer into savings account - DONE :)
    4. Transfer new cafe wages - DONE £262.39 added to OP savings account :)
    5. Print, bind and post off nail planner for Etsy order - made now just need to pack and post off :)
    6. Post off Open When envelopes for repeat customer on Etsy - DONE :)
    7. Comment on in search of posts to hopefully get a few orders - commented on two so far  :)
    8. Schedule social media posts for next week - forgot I had already scheduled them so a nice little bonus cross off for my list  :)
    9. Check freepostcode lottery - DONE :)
    10. Complete Prime Opinion survey
    11. Tidy craft room to see if I can find missing heart dies (just in case they are hiding in here)
    12. Post in a facebook group to try and drum up more sales
    13. Take a course from one of my memberships
    14. Design one new card making sheet for membership idea
    15. Meal plan for week
    16. Enjoy the company of hubby and doggo - DONE enjoyed the family fun day and had a lovely walk along the broads :)
    17. Rest and relax - DONE sat and watched some tv all evening :)
