Most strange, but thank you for the info. 

Mildly concerning that 59 separate people had, between them, donated nearly £1000 to someone who simply decided they didn’t want to pay their energy bill, but what people do with their money isn’t any of my business. Seems like it’d be pretty easy money for a particularly dishonest person to take advantage of if others are that easily persuaded to part with their cash under the guise of a stranger on the internet fighting back against evil energy companies.

In any case, I think I’ll probably be fairly safe from potential litigation on the basis that my meter has not been tampered with and the fact that I do pay my bills.

Oh this is gross.  When people are fundraising for essential mobility aids, medical equipment, medical bills, rent, a car to get to and from work because they live nowhere near public transport - and then there's these … can I call them scumbags without falling foul of forum rules?  Who simply decided they don't have to pay for their energy for some convoluted, mental gymnastic reason.  Absolutely disgusting.

Not to steer things too far off topic, but I was curious enough to google the names of the first few highest (named) donators on that page, just to see who is genuinely supporting that kind of activity. Very first one is currently half way through serving a 12-month community order for verbally abusing a journalist who was covering something covid related at a protest. Second one on the list also has a public social media account openly "denying" the existence of covid.

Bit of a theme emerging here... does explain a lot though.

Was curious to see the impact the adjustment period had on my usage, compared to what it might have been if I'd run the appliances over the morning, so I made a composite of the import and export readings on the Octopus app, and the generation curve from the inverter's app.

As long as they don't pull an E.On for this one and quietly drop the adjustment period I should be fine, it'd be a pretty poor deal otherwise.

As expected I got nothing for the 15th.
I was away and only signed up for the streak. It was a fairly sunny day so the in day adjustment worked against me with my solar panels as it made the adjusted baseline literally 0 so impossible to make any savings.

£7.99 was better than I expected, as mentioned above, a bit of a solar panel battle. The last one will be worse, much sunnier day.
