BG are offering triple i.e, £9 per kWh saved. So Octopus not being overly generous.Just wish I knew what they reckon I saved last week but no info yet.3

Possibly the last session? The last planned test AFAIK, could potentially be another live event. Doesn't seem like there would be with the weather as it is right now, but I thought the same at the end of February before we had that cold snap (not that it trigged an event)Will be interesting to see how things go. If tomorrow's sun is like today, it might be hard to use much in the adjustment period without being wasteful. Already run a hot cycle through the dishwasher today, as well as the last of this weeks laundry and a cooked lunch in the oven, but it was so bright we only imported about 1 kWh between the sun coming up and teatime. Were already planning a takeaway tomorrow, so no evening meal to cook at least.3.6 kW PV in the Midlands - 9x Sharp 400W black panels - 6x facing SE and 3x facing SW, Solaredge Optimisers and Inverter. 400W Derril Water (one day). ...sorry, what time is the qualifying period again? I've got a couple of loads of washing I almost put on this evening but they can wait - so can the dishwasher...0

Is there any potential downside to opting in?
For example in this case we can save in that period by cooking a bit earlier. But tomorrow there's no particular reason for higher use during the adjustment period (14:30 to 17:30?). I am not comfortable with the idea of using power unnecessarily just to play the system. So there's a good chance we may not show much of a saving. But should I opt in anyway just in case?0 -

You'll at least get the 100 points assuming you opted in to the previous one I believe.PPI success. Banding success. Double Dip PCN cancelled! South facing solar (Midlands) and battery. Savings Session supporter (is it worth it now!?)0 -
I have learned that I make the most "savings" by shifting my car charge to the in day adjustment period. It took most of the sessions to get over the idea of not charging in off peak and charging in the middle of the day. And I can't always charge my car in the day as I'm not always at home at the right time.4.3kW PV, 3.6kW inverter. Octopus Agile import, gas Tracker. Zoe. Ripple x 3. Cheshire0

Today's a pretty low price on Tracker (19.22p N Scotland) so might be worth seeing if we need any washing or drying. Aside from that all we can do is delay the dishwasher until 14:30 and make sure cooking is finished by 18:300
