Just had my e-mail from Loop -

'There is at least 1 more Turn Down and Save event to come. Loop will keep track of your rewards through the winter. We'll add them up and pay them to you via vouchers when Turn Down and Save finishes at the end of March. Your total savings so far are £4.35.'

£4.35 for actually increasing my use from an average of £1.50 a day to £3.14 on Tuesday!  Might even get a fiver from Wednesday's effort.

Looks like there'll be another one in the next couple of weeks so will be saving up the washing and working out a batch cooking scheme althoug I have got about a months supply of frozen meals already sorted.
They did have one the very next day to this one? So that could be it....

Which leads me to suggest switching to Hugo for their remaining sessions?

£19.48 for us funny story on that one with the last half hour which I will share at a later date.

The following day not so much of a saving not being home so a few things on auto pilot.

Good point Mstty - will have to wait to see what they put in the e-mail about Wednesday's event ...  Shame I didn't sign up to Loop earlier - as the dreaded Scottish Power aren't playing I didn't think there was an option for me to join in.

Deep seated hatred of Scottish Power and all who sail in her - would love to see Ofgem grow a pair and actually do something about it.

We missed the first 5 events messing about with Eon next customer service/their forum and twitter responses (all a complete mess)

I reckon we could have made £300 if we were with loop from the start but should get about £200.

    Net or gross?

I think there was a two hour session at the start before I understood the methodology that we missed out on that would otherwise have been the most lucrative of all, possibly well into 3 figures for that one session.

Our day rate is painful so we probably only net about half the payment after paying for the extra in the adjustment session.
    I think....

For what it’s worth, I appreciate your (and a few others over there) efforts on messing with the Eon forum.

I also missed the first 5, despite have been actively checking for information on the scheme regularly to take part since the first whispers of it started emerging around September. Once it’d become clear from information that could only be found on their forum that Eon were being a bit useless (along with another issue I was having with them), I immediately ditched for Octopus and am now on track for around £200 too.
    Moo…

...another £20 or so from Tues taking me to £170ish - assuming the same on Weds I'll be at £190 - hopefully one more session will take me across the £200 mark :)

Net, nothing we used wasn't going to be done that day or later that week so the weekly figures did not increase. No open oven door heating here.

All of £5.30 for Wednesday and confirmation of at least one more event to go.  Seeing as I usually use so little electricity on a normal week wasn't really expecting to get anything so thanks to the Forumites for setting me on the right track to have clean clothes and a warm house for a couple of hours and make a few quid!
