Co-operative Refer a Friend Switching Offer £125 (Nov 2022)

So, as anticipated, the rearranged switch never happened. As no payees had been transferred across and no text received to say the switch had started, I queried the progress by secure message a couple of days ago. I received this reply:"Thanks for contacting us. The switch has already keyed in but there is a slight delay unfortunately. Nonetheless, You will shortly receive a confirmation letter regarding the success of your switch.
I can confirm to you that we will still honour our refer a friend incentive as soon as the switching process gets done".I've not received a letter/email advising me of the latest revised dates and there's been no text message to say the switch has started yet.

Sorry you are having difficulties. Your options are persist or give up, ultimately. Have you tried visiting a branch?pfpf said:getting nowhere. got my sisters hopes up too (after i discovered she already had an account) as she was going to refer me and my OH once the accounts were open and she really needs the money

All came through today. Switches completed yesterday for my mum and my wife. I got £250 for referring both, and they got £125 each in their new bank account.0

am i going mad? there was a new coop thread with this latest version of this offer.

It was deleted by MSE, I assume because it filled up with people angling to be used for referrals, which is strictly against MSE Forum rules. Those people's overly-greedy actions meant that a useful thread highlighting an offer got pulled completely.pfpf said:am i going mad? there was a new coop thread with this latest version of this offer.

But some of us, me included, were glad to have the offer of a referral as they knew no-one alreading banking with the Co-Op.1

It's against the rules tho unfortunately, no matter how much we'd all like the free money!24Tweezers said:But some of us, me included, were glad to have the offer of a referral as they knew no-one alreading banking with the Co-Op.
Got to respect the house rules. Other forums are available which you can seek referals on.1
