  • My friend couldn't make :(

She was too tired - she has a LOT going on right now and to be honest it is relentlessly !!!!!! for all of us at the moment.

Yesterday and today were awful at work. The only thing for me is that it isn't just me - I know we are all in it up to our necks and honestly as much as it breaks my heart to say it some of the children are horrible - much like the adults who raised them and it will take a couple of years to fix. Not to mention the poverty and substance abuse (and that second one is just the staff ;) ) I don't want to leave the job, too much of a faff. No doubt now I have decided that they will try and push me out. To be fair am not at my best right now. Made a mistake in class this morning - dearest brain WHY tell me now? !!!!!!.

Tonight I cleaned out the under the stairs cupboard. Still can't bear to throw away my Dad's golf shoes. It is a lot more functional now. Finally got the dog food in there!

I am unbelievably tired. Feel all emotional. really need sleep XXXX
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • So ermmmmmm

"somehow" I have got myself a 564 pound cc bill. Recently I have purchased - two skirts, 4 tops, some Christmas stuff, shoes, 3 cardigans, a coat, a curtain rail, a massive hoody thing, 2 bras (3 of my mine died or tried to kill me) lights for the rabbits (for me not them!) petrol twice Just having a tiny FIT.
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • You’ll get it paid off Buffy. It might not be what you want to have, but it’s happened. I buy things on impulse when I’m wanting to feel better and things have been tough for you so having something nice isn’t a crime.

I paid it, I used my savings and some of my pay. I am now quite skint! I have two weeks worth of petrol money and not much else... but it is ok, I get paid for tutoring so I will survive. I also have 424 saved for Christmas which should be plenty. And 400 in the General savings account. Can I just recommend Playtex bras - very comfortable!

I need to be more serious about big saving - I still put 200 in the ISA and 55 in the NSI account and I do the rent, save a third(across accounts for car/rabbits/life), spend a third thing with my wages. but it isn't really enough - in that I will need more. but also I need to pay off the loan - I am at the point where the interest I get is the same as the interest I am being charged but I was thinking last night if I can pay of 564 in a panic potentially I could pay off more of the loan each month. I was double paying it and have paid off nearly half. I know I could just pay it off but I like the security of the money in the account.

I don't feel too well and think it might be a back to bed day once I have more washing on. I don't know what the heck I Am going to do about the rabbits. I was meant to start dividing the aviary but I have such earache. There is so much to do.

    nap, then some work. XXXX

  • It’s hard to balance money in the bank and debt. I struggle with that too but then spend the money in the bank on things I shouldn’t spend money in the bank on! 😂 so it would have been better to pay the debt off with.

Hope work figures itself out. If everyone is going through it, then why are you sure they’re going to push you out?

Try to relax this weekend. X

I am old and expensive. Also not willing to flog myself to death or suck up to leadership plus am openly a union member.

There are younger staff who would do my job in a heartbeat and be all keen and compliant!
    Nevertheless she persisted.
