Maybe the charity could arrange a pick up?
Positive vibes that your mum does not get COVID.
REmember that this is also down to having different people in & out of the house.

I think it is me, as two friends have it too.
But this is always a worry. I think I am over the worst. Slept on and off. she is very tired but I am staying in my room and am just hoping!
Got a phone from the hospital about Mum.... but was half a sleep so genuinely don't know what I said! Kinda funny! God knows what I am agreeing to..............
Weird how being off gives you time to think even tho you are ill.
Nevertheless she persisted.1 -

Also, what charities are available to assist as it’s unreasonable to expect you to be available every single evening. There may be ones out there that do befriending.
also, when my daughter lived in your neck of the woods, she, along with a friend, shared dog walking that enabled someone with mnd to keep their dog. This was through a charity. I could get details if you’d like when you aren’t quite so overwhelmed.
can either sister help out, even financially? I think you need regular respite from evening duties.
definitely claim AA. You never know what it can be used as a passport for in the future.
as always, try to take some care of you.
I am so tired now but the dogs have just relaxed. Might be able to put them to bed without any barking...........Nevertheless she persisted.3 -

Slept so well last night. Am definitely more relaxed the more I get down around the house. I woke up early but not hot or uncomfortable. I feel better, quite remarkable, it feels like covid has been shut off. Am tired but even slightly hungry today. I wish I could have another day off but I really can't. Too much to do.
The not having the carers in the evening is definitely better for me. I think Mum is happier too. It just means you aren't waiting for it to be done, you can just get on. Much easier to have dinner or do washing etc, and so much better for the dogs.
I don't want to go back to work! Ugh. I think I might go back to sleep for a bit. Just because I can.Nevertheless she persisted.4 -
Glad you feel better and are sounding more positive about things. I hope being back at work isn’t as bad as you fear. Take care xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Oh Buffy, have a hug from me. The number of balls you have to juggle just keeps going up.
I hope you find some routines that work and that going back to work is more help than hindrance.
