I'd suggest it would be kinder to let the dogs go to someone who has the time to retrain them and settle them as I don't think this is going to get any easier...but at the very least a dog walker to come in whilst you're at work is a must. The dogs are unhappy and stressed, they can't tell you in any other way than their behaviour, you need to listen to them. It might be a bonus for your Mum too to see someone else during the day when you're at work, the dogs must be stressing her as much as they're stressing you.
What would you advise a friend in this situation, remove the emotional side of things (you're understandably overwhelmed and over stressed) and what would you want for 2 little dogs who are obviously unhappy with the current situation.
How is your Mum coping with the carers coming in? Mine loved them (but Dad hated having others in the house), is there any improvement in your Mum, is she up and walking now? I know broken hips can be tricky but I think they like you up and moving as soon as possible.
Take care!4 -

We have some devastating news at work today and I can't really think of anything else. Everything seems terribly bleak.
I feel so battered.

Hi Buffy,
Sympathies on the dog peeing issue…my elderly lurched is almost 16 and we are finding that on some occasions he is peeing in the house. We’ve been using a pet spray designed to clean and remove the smell as he seems to go to the same spot if we don’t.
Thinking of you…paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

The week didn't really improve. I mean it couldn't.
However, I did get a new to me car and a new phone. I am not massively keen on the car. I am taking it to be cleaned tomorrow or maybe doing it myself! I am 3649 in debt with the loan and over a 1000 on the CC. Not great, the insurance extra =144, the phone was 439 and then it is my normal expenses- which I can pay ok, it is just having to find the extra 600......lol. I don't know why I am laughing! It means emptying my "pet/car pot" down to zero.........and only having petrol money. Hmmm.
March is going to be a very difficult month. Much in the vein of February and January. Still am glad it is here and the days are getting longer etc.
In better news the dogs have stopped weeing in the conservatory. They are using the door really well. I don't like how overwhelmed they are when I get in but am hoping that will lessen in time.
I still have so much to do in the house. We are finishing with one set of carers and starting with the new permanent carers and I really wanted the stuff all moved and donated. But it still looks like a charity shop back room downstairs. Tomorrow I am going to do my Amazon returns (money off CC) try and donate some bags and go to the tip, my spiritual home. If I am lucky I will also move the coffee table and the chair...............
