    As expected rates will rise today , its all over the news. I have not received my offer yet as its been going through NatWest Slow process . is there a chance i could even lose the deal i had as i have not had a offer? or as it has started that's the deal i have ?

    Worried about bank rise
    Was it fixed or tracker ?

    Fixed = No issue
    Tracker = possible but very less chance

    Until and unless you were too tight on affordability you won’t loose on 0.75 predicted increase

    I would image they have stress test built it to give a bit of roam.
    Yes  fixed 5 years. Natwest.   Should be good. Getting worried 😯
    Fixed means you are not effected ! Your rate should be locked. Although not offered yet but technically you should be ok … don’t worry …

    @viperex I too applied for a 5 year fixed. I applied on the 27th SEPTEMBER (just before the first rate rise) and I am still waiting for my offer!!! I am so stressed over it, it's unbelievable. I am being told different things by the agents on chat. The latest is that there has been a "discrepancy" with my husbands DOB, but basically they have wrongly keyed the year of birth (they used mine instead of his) and now I have to wait yet another 2-3 working days for this to be resolved, and then they say the offer will be sent. They told my broker on 24th October that an offer would be sent within 5 days. I really am losing all faith in NatWest at the moment, as their timelines make no sense. Some are getting offers just days after applying, and here I am, 5 weeks and 2 days (not that I'm counting lol) and still no offer. Anyone else in the same position? Please help!!

    Say that again Big_Rock? You sure. When likely. Does it mean everything up to this is all passed?

    Getting excited. Calm down ☺
