So, we’ve just had our offer (yay!) but noticed that they’ve used my partners first name as her surname so the broker thinks NW might have keyed that incorrectly.

They've searched her credit file etc. so assume it’s literally just an admin error - but soooo painful waiting to hear back about whether this delays things further!
Congratulation ... I hope the name issue gets sorted soon.

Could I check with someone who has maybe gone through this with a broker or has had further information from Natwest - does this being ticked mean the valuation has been done and was satisfactory or are we still waiting for them to assess?
There are no open or pending steps now so just unsure what the tick actually means.

    Thank you!

It means they have received whether it ok or not, you will know on offer.

Thanks! Keeping my fingers crossed for you too!

Spoke to NatWest about the keying error - it’s all fine in terms of the offer, but they requested my partners ID docs again and said that assessing them could take 15 working days…I fear this will never come to an end!

you applied on 6/10 and got an offer today? Wow! I applied 27/9 and am still waiting! Was told last Monday that offer would be sent within the next 5 days, but still nothing. Timescales seem to vary so drastically and make absolutely no sense.
That’s right. We’re FTB 90%LTV, although only both employed and we’re borrowing 2.5x our income so perhaps more straightforward.

My valuation was done on 30th September (a physical valuation) and the report was sent the same day.
Valuation all ok (we are only borrowing a very small amount against our highly valued property) and we have no offer as yet!!
We were told last Monday (24th Oct) that an offer would be sent "within 5 days" but nothing has been received as yet. The waiting is just awful.
