Parking Fine and Claim Form from County Court Business Centre

I sent my completed DQ to CCBCAQ and DCB Legal by email today. I used the info@dcblegal.co.uk email address for DCB. I have received an automated response from both. Please let me know if any more needs to be done.
Will the above step appear as a new entry on MCOL?
In terms of next steps, I understand that the case will now be transferred to my local court should the claimant want to pursue this. If yes, I will be receiving a Notice of Allocation, to provide me with a date and time for the hearing. I will need to submit a witness statement as part of this. Have I understood this correctly?
A couple of additional questions please:
- Do the parking companies often take this to the next step of a case at a local court or are there many instances where they back-off at this stage?
- How long between now and when I learn about whether there will be a Notice of Allocation? Is there a maximum period for this, albeit with caveats of delays etc.?
- I have seen one example of a witness statement on this forum and can use that to build my own but are there any others and especially ones that are relevant to my situation. I over-stayed in a car park whilst consuming fast food at the attached restaurant.
Thanks again.

Yes you have that process right. Can take months before your case is allocated and certainly months until any hearing date.If yours was filed by DCB Legal we have a thread showing 72 discontinuances and counting. Others also sometimes discontinue.
You don't need a 'case like yours' to copy a WS from (because it is just a case of telling your story plus fighting back against the false added costs) but take a look at the bundles by @aphex007 and @laurenjo12PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You will receive a N279 form from the claimant, which they should also file with the court. As for how long, in my left hand I have one end of a piece of string and the other end is ..............2

If this is a discontinuance, how will I be notified about this. and typically, how long does that take? Is that also months of wait?
You will then see for yourself how long it took.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Is N279 the same as a Notice of Allocation?
The reason for asking about timeframes is that I don't trust the postal service (still waiting to receive DQ letter) and I can the keep an eye on MCOL. I assume that the issue of a N279/Notice of Allocation will appear on a MCOL?
Also, will the decision of discontinuation also appear in MCOL?
I could then check MCOL once a week to see how things are progressing.0 -

The link to his discussion thread about DCB Legal is right there in his profile. Please stop, take time and look at what a person's profile shows you. His discussions are there as links for you to click on.
This isn't difficult to navigate. The forum is easy to use. If I take you to a person's profile, I do that for good reason. Please don't just take a quick look, dismiss it as their "home page" and overlook the links to his threads that are right there.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
