I’ve just stumbled on the update, updated mine & came here to post. The results shown are very confusing with historic data missing. Hopefully it will sort itself out soon, otherwise I’ll try a reset & start again😏0

I've just noted my historic data down and reset.
It's not vital data to keep - I was curious as to how much my freezer used, as I noticed a drop in my consumption after a long-overdue defrost - but I now think the drop was down to decommissioning an outside security light (replaced with solar) around the same time, which I think maybe the local cats were setting off all night - more of a drain than I'd realised. The other is on my washing machine, just to compare different cycles, so that's useful at the time, I don't need it to show long term use.0 -
Had to update the app now getting the graphs.
looks like the month view is last 30days
calendar view is showing very different data to that I captured before the update.
That stored data does seem to be available as the Tappo app is finding something
Maybe the node-red parser need updating as it is not seeing it.
The home assistant integration still not finding them.

It feels as though the new data since the update isn't playing well with the data it already had.
After deleting the data it is still behaving in a way that feels odd to me - in that it shows "There is no data yet" for the Day and Month - but does show the data since the reset in the Year screen - which is the same as under 'Today'. You might expect the month or year to not show data until it had at least a full day - but it would show - as it did before - for the 'Day'. at least the penny it shows for my freezer bill is now correct.
It's clearly still a bit buggy, but for me at least, it showing consumption to three digits is a vast improvement - for how I'm likely to use it. The Runtime number seems more accurate too.1 -
I'm wondering if the new firmware has changed the way this plug operates and rather than the app fetching historical data off the plug it now only gets current (and some cumulative totals) as a snapshot and relies on either doing this regularly to build up more detailed historical data or fetching it from the cloud. That or the app just hasn't kept pace with the plug firmware.0

I got my raspberry pi recording the data again thanks tux900.tux900 said:I'm wondering if the new firmware has changed the way this plug operates and rather than the app fetching historical data off the plug it now only gets current (and some cumulative totals) as a snapshot and relies on either doing this regularly to build up more detailed historical data or fetching it from the cloud. This is what my raspberry pi is now outputting
{'result': {'today_runtime': 82, 'month_runtime': 1043, 'today_energy': 1, 'month_energy': 11, 'local_time': '2022-10-22 11:32:29', 'electricity_charge': [0, 0, 3], 'current_power': 0}, 'error_code': 0}

I’m using one to monitor long term cost of chest freezer in the garage. The loss of 11 days data is mildly annoying, no more.BooJewels said:I've just noted my historic data down and reset.

That's what I was getting too @badger09 as outlined on page 8. 'Today's Total' was higher than 'Today' above it. I took a screenshot at 10pm last night and it shows a runtime of 22 hours, so the timing appeared to be right.
The price now seems to be keeping track, it's gone up to 2p now for 63Wh. The previous data for the freezer over about 10 days showed an average hourly use of 21.4 Wh, so it's still recoding in line with that.

Another issue is that it won’t save the cost per kWh so Bill of past 30 days is nonsense☹️0

To me, it feels like it isn't integrating properly with earlier data. Having reset mine, it does now seem to be getting the Bill right. I put a quick gross figure of 34p for the kWh and after 8.5 hours since I reset it, my freezer has used 0.198kWh and it's showing a bill of 7p.0
