Tapo P110
2 Tapo P110s delivered today. I’ve set one up & used it to monitor kWh used & calculate cost of doing a huge pile of ironing (I should get out more)
What I can’t figure out is whether it’s possible to effectively delete that info so I can use it to do the same with my chest freezer.

I’ve downloaded the user guide & looked @ the FAQs but can’t find any info.
If anyone can help, I’d be grateful. Otherwise I’ll just note the ironing info & subtract it from the total🤔

No clear data option on Tapos
You have to reset completely.
Today's usage can be useful, as long as you don't move around too frequently.1 -
I believe that if you reset it it does but it is not something that I have done.
Also, if you have an iPhone or Apple computer there is an alternative 3rd party app with some extra features https://www.watt-app.com2 -
I've only just set mine up on the freezer - but I suspect it's becoming some weird new hobby for some of us. I too had heard that they needed to be reset to start over with a new appliance, but not tried it either.
I'm already pretty enthralled with the several P100s I use to control much of my lighting and as an aside, discovered by chance when setting up the P110 just now, that the P100s also record run times for that device (Today > Past 7 Days > Past 30 Days) - so if it's on a device with static energy draw like a lamp, you can actually work out the cost. Maybe everyone knows this and I'm late to the party, or a bit dense, but just in case someone else like me hadn't spotted it.
In the app, I touched the little grey up arrow ^ above the plane symbol for the away settings.1 -

Thanks all. A bit disappointed that there isn’t a simple ‘delete’ button as initially, all I wanted to do was check the consumption of various appliances eg chest freezer, Sky+ mini boxes left on standby etc.
@Buff I’ll take a look at that app
@BooJewels. Must admit it’s becoming a bit if a hobby but need to ensure it doesn’t become an obsession. I’m more committed than OH. But when watching a recorded gripping drama tonight, when someone put water in a kettle, he muttered ‘that’s too much water for 2 cups’😂.1 -
This energy crisis is turning us all in to a bunch of misers.

I'm also trying to work out the most efficient place for my thermostat (only had a mobile one for 11 months) to try and get a target temperature that works for me and gives me more even warmth through the house and the rooms I use. That's more about my comfort level than trying to save money especially, but I want to do it as efficiently as possible - which involves the bit of trial and error.4 -
My thermostat is in the lounge as that's where I spend most of my time, the radiators in the other rooms have TRVs which allows me to set those individual rooms temperatures, the lounge is always the coldest room so it works quite well having it in there.4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.0

TRVs will close automatically though, you just set them on the right number and the valve closes when the room gets near temp.
You shouldn't have to manually mess around with them once set.4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.0
