    Thanks for reply, HJ.

App updated but I'm having difficulty accessing it, I'm intermittently getting a spinning circle and it's not loading.  :(

Is there anyone who is doing the UA survey having a problem with reporting overdue items ever since the latest app update?

I have one item in the overdue section but when I open it the options are to report if you know when you received it or not. That doesn't make sense.

Not only that but it  also disappears when I click it so I'm not sure what's going on.

I had that as soon as I upgraded - disappears when I try and click on it.  It's the dummy one (as quoia mentions) so I'm not concerned unless it stops them paying the points at the end.  I logged it as a ticket so I'll let you know if I get anything useful.
Tried again today and managed to get hold of it about the 4th tap.  Questions were then the usual ones.
I need to think of something new here...

Email has been received mentioning that there are issues

"We are aware that some panellists are facing issues with the app at present.

We are working hard on getting this resolved.

If your app is currently not loading please try and force close and see if that helps, if not, know that we are working on getting this resolved.

If you are having trouble logging your items, please keep a record of the time and date that they have arrived and check back regularly to see if this has been resolved.

We are sorry for the frustration that this is causing, we are doing our best to get this resolved as soon as possible.

We will communicate with you once this has been fixed.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Take care,

    Your Mailagents Team "

No queries here at all since starting this latest session last December - although I've had the occasional email suggesting there are ones that I need to reply to by clicking on the "little bell symbol"

On a totally different Mailagents topic ....

..... Anyone here involved in the Royal Mail Parcel Collection pilot testing ?
No, didn’t even know they were trialling that. Would be much more convenient if that gets rolled out more widely.
I WOULDN'T BE SO EAGER IF I WAS YOU !

It's not very flexible - or perhaps I should say it was too flexible FOR the RM
When I went to book the collection on Sunday for a pick up today (Tuesday) I was only offered a fixed 3 hour period of approximately 10am to 1pm

IF I had wanted Wednesday again a fixed 3 hour window but 11am to 2pm
Thursday was noon to 3pm and Friday 1pm to 4pm (ish)
Having said that there is an * which says "This is NOT guaranteed" and when I spoke to the postman that collected my 2 parcels and mentioned the time frame he responded with "They shouldn't specify ANY COLLECTION TIME AT ALL because it impossible to know what time I'm going to get here"

For me I had to "hang around" for over a couple of hours listening out for the doorbell or knock at the door so that I didn't miss the postman which meant I couldn't go out, even do some gardening at the bottom of our garden etc., whereas IF it had been a sack for the Post Office I'd have been done in under 10 minutes from leaving home and getting back again.

AND as it stands - can't log that it has happened since Bundle handling does not have COLLECTED option
    TICKET raised
I use Royal Mail collection all the time for regular parcels and I think it’s great. But perhaps I only think that way because I seem to live in an area where it is safe (so far) to leave parcels outside the front door and the post man just picks them up from there without disturbing me. So from my perspective, the options seems quite attractive, rather than me having to drive specifically to a parcel postbox.

Not everybody has a larger PO with 'Drop and Go'. It is ridiculous to suggest that the process of despatching mail sacks is 'simples' just because theirs is. Over the years most of the larger POs have closed in favour of small businesses. You only have to read back through this thread and the previous Kantar one to understand the problems.
I am sure a lot of the problems are due to staff training. My local PO has shrunk down over the years from a major part of a family business to a corner of an 'open all hours' operation. Now they take parcels from many different companies. They hardly have any space let alone designated areas and qualified staff.
Ours is a small post office within a co-op store.  There's barely enough room to queue without getting in the way of customers who are trying to do their shopping.

You know you can take the parcels out of the mail sack and put them in a parcel post box instead (if you have one?)

First incoming one with the new app today and I get the same spurious message as HomingPigeon reports.  I ignored and carried on as HonestJohn described and it looks OK.

Just got an email from Spectos:

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are writing to inform you about some important updates that have been made to the mailagents app, for the reporting space for the Unaddressed mail survey. Please ensure you update the app to the latest version, which should now display as version 1.8.

Please take note of the following key changes to the Unaddressed Mail Survey's data entry processes:

    1. Activation of New Items:
      • New items due to be delivered for the current week are activated as before in the "Due Items" section.

    2. Movement of Unreported Items:
      • After one week, all unreported items will be moved to the "Overdue Items" section. However, please note that the additional option to report items as "not received" will not be activated right away. This is to ensure there is time to capture if the item just arrived late rather than not being received.

    3. Reporting Overdue Items as 'not received':
      • The option to report items as ‘not received’ in the “Overdue Items” section will not be activated right way. This option will only become available on the first Saturday evening following the item being transferred to the “Overdue Items” section. Please make sure that you report all items by Wednesday evening of the following week. Record each item as either received, not received or not sure. If you wait too long, the item will disappear from the ‘Overdue Items’ section, and you will not be able to enter it. This will count as a missed data entry, which may make you ineligible to receive your reward points.

    4. Sorting of Overdue Items:
      • Items in the "Overdue Items" section will be sorted by the calendar weeks the items were due delivery. In the new layout you will have to tap on the week headings to view all of the overdue items that were due to be delivered that week.

We believe these updates will enhance your experience with the app and streamline the process of managing items. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is Point 3 possibly what was causing an issue for you, Gail333?

I need to think of something new here...

Is anyone able to get into the app yet? It’s just hanging for me and it’s updated to the most recent version.

I force closed the app a few times. Now I sometimes get the buffering but it does open
