There is absolutely no possibility that this can be anything other than a Spectos item as I am not expecting any parcels whatsoever.
Has anyone else experienced this? I am extremely reluctant to have to travel to pick up this item and, although I know £2.50 is not much, I do not think that I should have to pay to receive one of their items.
I have emailed them but I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this because I do not understand how such a mistake could have happened!
Given other replies in this thread it sounds like a business sender is being naughty?
In fact, my most recent experience with an item I sent where the addressee had moved and I had clearly written my surname and address on the back of the envelope, RM still passed the envelope to their Belfast office who opened the envelope and returned it to me using my first name (because that is how I had signed the letter advising the intended recipient that his brother had died) and not my surname. Fortunately I had included my address on the letter inside as well as on the outside of the envelope. It came with a note suggesting that one should write return addresses on envelopes!!!.0 -

(Not so much for this point but the more I read in this thread the more I think "come back Kantar, all is forgiven".)0 -
My thoughts too. Come back Kantar.
I have had 4 cardboard boxes delivered this week containing books, the postman just gives me a knowing grin now.
Good to hear via their latest newsletter that they are going to use smaller boxes. The books are a pain the charity shops around me wont take them and a lot of them are too big for the postbox. i asked a couple of months ago to be put on my 6 months rest and their reply was that they have not sorted the rotation slots out yet' I am beginning to think they are short of panelists as I am receiving at least 2 items most days.

Spectos seem to be having a lot of teething issues. I expect they will get a tough time from RM when their progress is reviewed.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. Albert Einstein0 -
HonestJohn said:I am getting a lot of transponder return envelopes that are not sealed.
I've had this a couple of times.
Interestingly, the transponders do not have a label on saying "return to xxx" in case they are separated from the pre-paid envelope0 -
