    Thanks for replies, all.

    Here's a quote from a post of 14th April…

///Just received a reply from Spectos on this who have confirmed that if a parcel will fit a regular postbox, it can be posted there, i.e. the posting of parcels isn't limited to only post offices and parcel boxes.///

This is not mentioned in the instructions that are supplied with the parcel and sack.

I wonder if the rules have changed and they sometimes send out innacurate paperwork. I received my first piece of polystryene today, together with a note about what to do with the enclosed book.😊

Of course, that's not as important as getting it right about being able to post in a regular postbox rather than a parcel postbox.😲

Same here , 10 points added , not complaining

  • Yep, they told me parcels could be posted in normal post boxes if they will fit. As is typical though, I haven't had another parcel which will fit in a regular post box since then so have never actually posted a parcel in one.

Yesterday morning, along with some other Spectos items, I received a card from Royal mail which states that the sender did not pay full postage and that I need to pay £2.50 to receive the parcel.

There is absolutely no possibility that this can be anything other than a Spectos item as I am not expecting any parcels whatsoever.

Has anyone else experienced this? I am extremely reluctant to have to travel to pick up this item and, although I know £2.50 is not much, I do not think that I should have to pay to receive one of their items.

I have emailed them but I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this because I do not understand how such a mistake could have happened!

Will be testing how well Spectos react to holiday notifications from tomorrow.

I won't be pleased if sacks arrive. I can see items that need posting the week after I am back that haven't yet arrived. I assume that Spectos realise that as well as not sending mail to me from other posters, I won't want their post arriving while I am away.
Complete fail. 4 letters arrived, that I have logged but can't say what day they arrived, so no useful information. One parcel - a large cardboard box, judging from the state it is in I would say it has been sat outside the front door for a few days! One plastic wrapped item containing a sack for posting next week, also been on the doorstep for I don't know how long. I will be emailing a complaint. Totally unacceptable to be sending parcels when they have been told I will be away, advertising to all that the house is empty.

Oh that is bad. I’d feel really cross.

A few days ago I received an invite for the unaddressed mail and starts on the 8 May. The last time I accepted it never happened. Also nothing showing on the app yet.
