Do we post test items on Bank Holidays, or do we hold them until the following week?

Depends which Monday the Pigeon was talking about. You just keep it until the day is not a Bank Holiday. We all did this at Christmas when post bundles were delayed by the strike. I don't know why Spectos did not see this coming.

  • Thanks for replies. I have 2 bundles to post tomorrow (Sat 29 April). Do I hold onto them for 2 weeks?

No. Tomorrow is not a bank holiday.

    You post them as scheduled.

  • I didn’t see it coming because I’ve never posted on a BH before, but that aside, I thought I’d read that you just posted as normal.
  • Thank you, I was told this weekend is a bank holiday weekend. Obviously I wasn’t paying enough attention. :0/

I received a book today which had nothing else with it in the package. I assume it’s from this panel as it’s a random book I’ll never read but there’s nothing to scan inside, and it’s addressed to someone else (but my address).

Edit: Maybe it’s actually nothing to do with this panel.

You should not have any items that are due to be posted on Bank Holidays unless you have had to hold something over that you were unable to post the previous Monday.  If this is the case, they need to be held over until the next Monday which is not a bank holiday, ie the 15th May.  I have confirmed this with Spectos in the past when I received a posting pack too late for the Monday they were supposed to be posted, and was told to keep them until the next Monday which was not a bank holiday (it was over Christmas so there were bank holidays two weeks in a row).

I got two parcels today - each containing TWO books, if they are so short of books then why on earth are they sending two?  Returning them will be a pain as well, they are pretty heavy and with there being two of them in each package they are not going to fit in the postbox and will have to be taken to the post office.  I might keep the Clive James one as it sounds funny but will return the other three next week - on different days lol due to the weight.
