Am having a very bad experience at the moment with Supaparcels after they admitted illegally disposing of my goods without my permission.
I've noticed via their ebay website ( & personal experience)that should anything go wrong with their carriers they absolve themselves of all responsibility & its a real struggle to get even your courier charges back (let alone compensation).
I've just had a high value consignement go missing with them, I had to ask them!!!! after 7 days (on a guaranteed 2 day service) when i could expect delivery, only to be told that my goods had been disposed of without my permission!!!
They have refused to reimbuse me for the value of the consignment or courier charges, hiding behind obscure details on their terms & conditions (prohibited goods, improperly packaged, no invoice etc).
The goods were not prohibited, improperly packaged & i had a receipt for payment.
The company??? can find no details at company house, are currently under criminal investigation by berkshire police & i have to start civil procedings to try to get my money back.
PLEASE PLEASE do not use this company or any of their associates if you value your goods
Wow, sorry to hear that, must be an absolute pain in the back side. Its action like this that have got courier agents such a bad name and created the inerrant warryness to them, which is so evident in this thread.

I presume they went by DHL? If so I would try ringing them direct, sometimes its hopeless, but you do occasionally get through to someone who knows what they're on about. I don't understand how they can of disposed of your goods, particularly as courier agents never get to see them??

How did you pay? If it was funded by a credit card you can do a chargeback.

We've never used them ourselves, but have sent numerous queries to them about prices, but they've never got back to us. Is it Neal the chap?

When you say 'associates', do know of them if so please let us know.

Hi. Quick question, has anyone used ppwexpress recently and are they still as reliable as they used to be? I haven't had to use them for a while as I've had nothing to send, since one of their employees left and their prices went up, but have something to post now. Thanks.

We use them on a daily basis & still get DHL turning up on time, even with the old £4.95 prices that we prepaid for, although we still haven't had our 30 freebie bookings after prepaying for 300 bookings

Gavin, you say you will be using pretty much every courier company under the sun, will your customers get a choice?

Also what time is your booking cut-off?

Gavin, your post was removed because it was an obvious advert which is against MSE rules. As was the PM that you just sent me with a direct link to your company.

hi we would choose the best carrier for the job in hand and the cut off times are 11am for uk deliveries and 10am for the rest of the world.

Can you explain to your customers why you have gone 'offline' for significant periods without any prior warning, and will this be a continuing trend?
