    Direct Parcel delivery do 24hr @ £6
  • There's a seller on ebay doing 24 hour UK parcels for £6.50 and Northern Ireland/Offshore islands for £8.99
They seem new but worth a try at those prices

    I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

So who did you use when DPD closed without warning for 4 weeks out of the last 5 weeks?
An account or not, what's the point if they just shut up shop on a whim with no prior notice!

Sorry about the VAT thing. As a VAT registered company we don’t have to worry about the VAT so I have got used to ignoring it. The main point to my thread is that although payperparcel may not be the cheapest around they are one of the best around with my experience.
They have a great user friendly website which is very quick and easy to use for booking and tracking your parcels. I have great confidence that once I submit my booking the collection will take place the same day and the item will be delivered without damage or getting lost.

We have been let down so many times before, the bit I hate the most about the failures is having to go cap in hand to your customers, with some lame excuse about the courier company not collecting and that the item they have paid upfront will be with them shortly. However you cannot confirm when that will be as you are unable to get hold of the courier by phone or e-mail!

Customer service is key for our repeat business without repeat business we would go under.

    Thanks

Looks that way Tim. It also looks like someone from payperparcel has too.
    So transparent :rotfl:

I've used loads of these courier services before and the best I've come across for price, customer service & peace of mind is UK Courier Express
They've just dropped their prices too
    10 parcels 1-2 day delivery £69.99 or £7.50 single
Ebayers get a 5% discount too

Tho I may try that ebayer that I mentioned earlier with 1 parcel to see how it goes. Worth a try for £6.50 I suppose.

Dude, I am a member of this site since "Join Date: 10-07-2006" which is before DPD was even established.

Maybe you should learn to get your facts right first, before you accuse someone of the same thing again.
