its about80 cm x 60 cm 45 cm and would weigh about 8.5 KG

just measured box - its actually 60 cm x 50 cm x 45.

Special Delivery would be £21.45 inc up £1k cover. The max size is 610mm x 460mm x 460mm, so technically your parcel is too big but the person at the local PO may not notice...

At http://www.ppwexpress.com/ you can get up to £500 cover for £8.25. DHL.
