I didn't get an error message, just a page of text, and I had to completely start again - plus as I didn't actually know what the problem was, it took me 4 attempts to work it out for myself  Obviously fine once you know, but as a first-time user not good.
Also, I am not saying you can't arrange collections, what I meant was that when you go into 'make a booking', your details are already pre-populated in the sender fields - wouldn't it be nice if you could choose whether they went into sender or recipient to save you having to change them? A simple tick box is all it would take
Twas only a suggestion to them, thought most companies welcomed customer feedback.0 -
on the page of text where it says error i think it will be next will next to the field that is causing the problems. we worked it out quite quickly but I can see why it could cause problems.
ah I see what you mean and yes I'll give you that.
I have also suggested a box where you can select how many parcels. so if you have 2 or more you don't have to fill it out 2+ times. Not just fiddly but also as they're not booked as one consignment, multiple boxes can get delivered over a number of days.0 -

But we shouldn't need to work it out ourselves, should we? Mmmmm, yes, multiple box would also be very good - we should lobby for our suggestions to be implemented
Would only take a techie 5 mins and make their customers :j
Do they look on here? If not they should!0 -
Armitage Shanks do you own PPW then?0

They do, but credit to them unlike DPD they don't have a legion of marketeers posting on their behalf.
I'll be speaking to Paul Harrison today or tomorrow and I'll bring these ideas up!0 -
OMG right on cue the DPD marketeers arrive just on time!!!0

Can anyone recommend a courier to deliver a Kayak from Wales to Scotland. The size seems to be a problem, approx 2.5m long x 70cms x 70cms weighing around 24 kgs. Thankyou for any help.0

something of this length would be cheaper on a groupage road service. how is it packed? is is on a pallet? would there be easy access for a large vehicle where you want it collecting from?
i suggest looking in yellow pages / phone book for freight forwarders and haulage companies in your area
best of luck,
lokiit's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:0 -
