Also, who is best to use for transporting the TV?
cheers
Im sure you wont be covered under insurance as TV's are classed as glass even tho they are plastic on LCD's, i may be wrong0 -
Anyone know parcel2go's booking cut-off?

I know its a little expensive compared to most on here but i have had nothing but great service from these in the last year about 30 items sent without one single problem. Also they allow to drop off at local parcelforce depo which is great for me sometimes as i cannot wait in all day if i need to work, go out etc.
They only now do it by email and prices are £7.99 48 and 8.99 24 but for that little extra it's totally worth it from my point of view as they are excellent.

Ha. you were!
I think they'll have to charge a £2.50 before anyone would think of using them!:rotfl:
Sent 8 with ppw and 19 with parcel2go today. All fine, though booking with p2g was time consuming and the paperwork took even longer than usual when our (brilliant) DHL driver came. Will use p2go again for tomorrow as £4.68 is too good to ignore, but then it will be back to ppw and their easier booking system and what I think is a much later cut off...10am plays 12.30pm!
Also how many emails do p2go want to send you, we've had over 50!0 -
Thanks for posting the parcels2go offer deanos. I have just booked a collection for tomorrow.0

Hi, I need to send a parcel in the next couple of days for an Ebay sale but it weighs about 20kg and needs to be insured up to £1000. I have looked at a few of these websites but they all seem quite expensive by the time you add about £10 for extra insurance.
Any ideas which courier to use?0 -

Aside from emailing them all, my first step would be to ring ppwexpress and see what they say. 0845 620 97020 -
Am having a very bad experience at the moment with Supaparcels after they admitted illegally disposing of my goods without my permission.
I've noticed via their ebay website ( & personal experience)that should anything go wrong with their carriers they absolve themselves of all responsibility & its a real struggle to get even your courier charges back (let alone compensation).
I've just had a high value consignement go missing with them, I had to ask them!!!! after 7 days (on a guaranteed 2 day service) when i could expect delivery, only to be told that my goods had been disposed of without my permission!!!
They have refused to reimbuse me for the value of the consignment or courier charges, hiding behind obscure details on their terms & conditions (prohibited goods, improperly packaged, no invoice etc).
The goods were not prohibited, improperly packaged & i had a receipt for payment.
The company??? can find no details at company house, are currently under criminal investigation by berkshire police & i have to start civil procedings to try to get my money back.
PLEASE PLEASE do not use this company or any of their associates if you value your goods0
