Bump.................R.I.P Sam, still in my heart0
-
i use to use payperdrop and then switched to ppwexpress, i had a boxc of solar rock lights shipped via ppwexpress and buyer claimed to have not had them, chased laura at ppwexpress and was told that they will try to go out today witht eh driver if not tomorrow (this was last week) as the driver had tried last week but couldnt deliver as nobody was home, although no card left at the buyers address. a few more days passed and no sign of them, chased laura ppwexpress and she sent me a mail apologising that there are now being sent back to the seller , me. great but she would send them again free of charge. got the box back to me, and the sides were split and it looked as if a elephant had sat on it. I wrapped these lights in towels as well as using the same box that the items get shipped to me in from abroad.
email ppwexpress to say the lights are broken only to get this reply...
Hello,
Unfortunately you would not be able to raise a claim for this as it is lights it is not covered by our insurance. I apologize immensely for the inconvenience caused by this. Any problems don't hesitate to contact me.
Regards
Yevette
I said that even though i stated that they are lights, there is very minimal glass on them as they are suppose to look at rocks, but apparently i'm not covered even though my booking confirmation shows i'm covered to £100.00, apparently i'm not. Surely thats wrong, we are only talking about £20.00 here but its the principal here, i have stayed loyal to them even with the price hike and the first problem i have they dont want to know! i wont use them again and stress that you should check that the items your sending are covered despite what the confirmation shows. I had a problem with payperdrop and even though they were slow in sorting it they didnt just palm me off. bad service from PPWexpress and a company i won't go near to again, i'd rather pay a little more to have great customer service.Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0 -

well ive used them alot and this is the first major problem and wanted to point out my bad experience, shoody customer service to be honest. And yes i thought my lights were covered my confirmation states i had insurance upto the value of £100.00. yet laura tells me the website states that it does not cover certain products, yet what it actually states is to contact laura because there are certain items not covered by the insurance, no mention of anything, thats a pretty good policy, ie you tell me when you have a problem you advise what it is and then i tell you whether you were covered or not. i have since spoken to dhl and they have asked me to forward the complaint to them since it is there reputation.. please let me clarify, these are not normal glass lights they are lights that look like rocks with a small glass lense. they were securely packaged and had additional wrapping, i have kept the box and as i dont think anything would have withstood that sort of treatment..
can i ask one question, you don't work for ppwexpress do you?
i only ask since my last mail to you laura or paul stated that i was going to post my experiences of your company on some forums and here you pop up... strangeListen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0 -
Does anyone know who is the cheapest for sending a parcel to N.Ireland needs to get there Wednesday week?0

regarding my issues with ppwexpress, i have since took a phonecall from paul harrison from ppwexpress and had a lenghty conversation and he sounds a genuine guy that wants sort through the issues. As a goodwill gesture he is willing to refund the cost of the item, so i am very happy with that and his response. as i say this is the first problem i had with the service after using them numerous times. I suggested that it might not be a bad idea to register on the forums as other couriers have done and give his side of the story, which i believe he will do shortly.Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0
