Thanks Armitage
I've sent them some booking details for a parcel to France.
A bit disappointed that it's not instant.
Having to hang around for a Paypal invoice & a price is a bit of a bummer0 -
Yes, he gets back to you quickly though.
Once you get to know him I'm sure it would be fine if you just send him the funds direct from your paypal account. Thats what we do.0 -

The phone is constantly engaged or you get an answer machine.
I too have received that email from them today and it sounds ominous!
I don't like to speak wrongly or in a bad sense of anyone’s company BUT I will make an exception.
Good lord could you find anyone more incompetent then them and their staff?!? If you make a complaint, you receive sarky rude e-mails that imply the problem is my own. And getting anything out of them is like getting blood from a stone. Shame about Lisa, although she does your head in a bit but at least she attempts to get the job done. The other girls need to be shot. Light a fire under their !!!!!! and they still wont move! And have you *seen* them in Bullwell? They really couldn't give a flying monkeys. Too busy crowding the door 'aving their fag! Not exactly professionalism in it's finest.
I am a very patient person and I have given them alot of chances, as they were a new company, obviously finding their feet. So after all of these months, I can honestly say they were better when they started out. Usually companies start out a bit rocky then continue to improve, these guys have gone against the laws of motion and have landed at the bottom of the canyon and still digging down.
There are some good points. They are competent in sending an e-mail to DHL to collect your items. And the insurance is acceptable of £100 per consignment and for an extra £1 you can increase to £500.
So if your looking for a company that has a reliable professional image, good customer relations, fantastic customer service and a smile. This isn't it.
If your looking for a cheap courier and if something goes wrong, you don’t mind losing the £6+ you've spent. Well it's perfect for you!0 -

No it isnt. Unless her contract specified that she couldnt. And even then its a civil matter and not 'illegal'0 -

if you cancel, they won't give you refund. I rememmber they state this terms in their T&Cs.
Anyway they have picked up my parcles today.:T0 -

I sent a parcel to Slovenia weighing 31kgs and measuring 110x50x50 for £33.99 with these guys.
I was quoted upwards from £75+Vat from others.
Do you know any others where I could have got it cheaper as my business is picking up with Slovenian and Slovakian sales.
Direct Parcel Delivery quoted me £10 for Estonia which is in the same zone. Still waiting for them to be picked up which is another matter (booked it 2 days ago). Though, since I have an account with them I don't have to pay anything upfront!0 -
I'm a newley registered poster, i prefer to read rather than post but felt i had too on this thread, PPP picked up 2 of my parcels too today - luckily i haven't had any problems so far with them0

BTW if you want a reply from them i use the business to business for £5.45 then they send you a !!!!!! email and i send one back and still do it.0

We've spoke to DHL direct and you can use omega economy to delivery to domestic addresses, you don't have to use 'dhl@home' like ppp claim; if they push us on that we'll stop using them in a flash, our drivers hate it anyway because they use people with cars to delivery '@home' and pay them tuppence a box.0
