I have been using Direct Sales Europe via their www.directparceldelivery.com website for a few weeks now.

I ordered 2 24hr Parcelforce collections yesterday and paid my £12 which they accepted and acknowledged by 2 separate emails.

Parcelforce didn't turn up to collect the parcels today and when I tried to report it to www.directparceldelivery.com I found that their website is closed "until further notice". It's worrying to find the website closed and my parcels still sitting waiting to be collected. No explanation on the website or any email address to enable anybody to contact them. Tried the email address that I had already but message said "email address does not appear to exist - your message has not been sent".

Have they gone out of business??

    BEWARE!

The way of many MJMC Im afraid.

Sounds familiar as well; go off line for while come back for a bit, then disappear. Going back on line is often the cynical ploy used to to get some cash (eg. payerdrop, deals-5-direct etc.).

It looks like Parcelforce/DHL have cancelled their contact with Direct Parcels, removed them from the Main Post

Also added Personal Shipper 24hr Delivery £7.99

They refunded me last time Parcel Force didn't show, and if they don't refund you you can always claim through Nochex :)

PPP starting to !!!!le me off, they put there prices up significantly just as we start sending 50 a week, lisa said she will get back to me with an offer but she didn't seem too interested and fact she said 'i'll have to have a chat with our directors' when she is the one and only director goes together with their other mythical I.T department! Its all so easy to see through!

Anyone know how many parcels you need to be sending to get a decent rate direct with a courier? We'll soon be sending up to 70 a week.

you can open a credit account with a major courier such as DHL, parcelforce and etc. I guess the price they will give you is about £6.50 + VAT for 50 parcles pre week. If you send more, you will get more discount. Also your parcels are insured by courier directly. Not agent! It is a nightmare to claim the compensation from agent.
