Courier Cost Cutting Feedback/Discussion thread

I've used MH Direct a few times and they were OK but seriously cocked up on the last order; the customer service was pants. I usually use Parcels2Go but their prices are getting too high so I'm trying Direct Parcels for one collection tomorrow to see how they do!

BTW: the information page has PayPer Parcel as £6.39 but that is EX VAT so really the price is £7.51

I have just used Baloon & Gift, service has been second to none. Paid on eBay, filled in the form, recieved comfirmation few minutes later, goods collected on date requested and delivered the following day in satisfactory condition. Will use again and reccomend to others to.

I called UPS yesterday and they had no record of a booked collection so at least we were then able to go shopping. But we had had a wasted afternoon. The woman at UPS said when we'd told her what had happened that Pharos was one of three companies she would have guessed was responsible. She arranged a further pick up and I called Pharos today to request refund / compensation but that is not their policy...

Pharos = Peanuts = Monkeys

I recommend avoid...

Hi Everyone

I'm a newly formed cake business and urgently need a courier service who are reliable and would "take care" of certain types of cake I want to post.

Anyone got any ideas or can relive some good(or bad) experiences with any particular couries having sent something "similar".

unfortunatly the packaging/safety is down to you.
packages go through manual and machine sorting regardless of what company you use.
uness a courier perhaps offers some form af premium fragile service? but ive not heard of one

I've used a company called CS Parcels for all manner of shapes and sizes of parcel and they've never let me down yet, either with the delivery or the price. They're at www.csparcels.co.uk

just emailed me saying the booking has been made for monday,
were i stated i wanted it today (4th) and the item says 24hours midnight cut off.
