I understand now that the item will be set up for collection the next day if you BIN before 12am, however the listing did not state that there was no saturday collections, which i wasnt expecting that a company would do it that way but at least to put it on their listings for people buying.Things that are free in life are great, well most of the time :beer:0

All the parcels I've sent with Parcel2Go via DHL have always arrived at the destination within 24 hours even though its a 48 hour service. I've booked as late as 11.50pm at night for pickup the next day.0

Well I booked through direct sales at 8.30 am this morning, and parcelforce collected at 10.50am - so far so good. I booked and then read rest of thread, panicked:eek: , and kept my fingers crossed!:D
Will update once my buyer says item received.
Apparently certain parcel companies are cracking down on re-sellers as most are selling services to other users without carrier agreement. This is, apparently, causing lots of problems and we could see certain sellers ceasing to sell 'cheap' services very quickly.
Sounds like none are honest enough to tell the carrier what they are doing and then as soon as they are found out they either switch to another carrier or shut up shop owing loads of money.
Doesn't sound like the sort of companies that this website should be encouraging does it ??0 -
I normally usually use ebay forums, but a friend who works for a parcel courier told me about this discussion forum about parcel services which seems to be a very hot topic.

I like CATHYS1 booked three parcels using the DSE service yesterday evening. Panicked a little after reading through this thread. But this morning Parcelforce courier turned up. Thought he'd be taking all three but he only had receipts for two! Panicked a little more at that point! Anyway fired off an email to DSE who promptly replied back saying that the courier would be back in the afternoon. They also mailed me with the Tracking Number of the third parcel which was yet to be collected. A few mins ago, courier as promised turned up! No problems yet, items should arrive at their destinations tomorrow so will update you guys then...so far so good!
Three orders I put through were collected and delivered without any problems. Will defo be using them again.:T0 -
This board seems to be full of spam to highly dodgy looking companies who want all of your personal details before even attempting to give you a quote and with no unbiased independent reviews. Personally I have used Interparcel a few times - cheaper than Royal Mail but nowhere near the £6 I have seen by some of these new ones including insurance. Some of the links also want all your details and then only accept credit cards. They may be legit but use at your peril.0

I've used MH Direct a few times and they were OK but seriously cocked up on the last order; the customer service was pants. I usually use Parcels2Go but their prices are getting too high so I'm trying Direct Parcels for one collection tomorrow to see how they do!
BTW: the information page has PayPer Parcel as £6.39 but that is EX VAT so really the price is £7.51
Just to follow up on my post(s) above, I'm still expecting the refund promised by email by MH Direct on the 2/4. I have opened a dispute with Paypal today, I will keep you posted.
My parcel send through PersonalShippers arrived as expected within 24h of collection (with a perfect, real-time tracking).:T Again, I may just have been lucky but I will deal again with them.
Hopefully MH Direct will hold their promise and will refund my fee, which will in my mind give them the benefit of the doubt. Until then, I still advise to stay clear.0
