So when will we learn if it tracked? I followed the MSE link but I don't know anything about the introducer or the cookies.

Given the reputation of the IT system of TSB, I will certainly lodge a complaint if they refuse to pay due to non-tracking.

any suggestions on DD`s i can set up that are quick to activate?i thought my donor account had a couple on but it doesnt,i have done my usual park hampers but the first payment does not go out until 1st dec, also dogs trust for the first of the month but not sure there is enough time for them to take nov.tia
Moneybox and Plum savings accounts £1/2 week direct debits are the best for this I think due to being set up and first payment within 10 days
For Moneybox, I understand there is £1 per month fee but is free for the first three month? Does it also apply for "Simple Saver" or it is only for investing account.
Similarly to plum is there any fee to maintain the account?
The £1 monthly fee is for investment accounts (waived for pensions) after the first three months.

I have both the simplesaver and 32-day notice accounts with moneybox for two direct debits.

  • Applied online... (1 day before tomorrows deadline of Halloween...)
all cookies enabled and using a browser that i keep "vanilla" for these sort of activities.
Application process reasonably straightforward (although odd list of job descriptions).
accepted straight away - but as a few have noted, the Current Account Switching service failed... "there has been an error".  logged in again and it wanted me to type in a code... oh thinks i - it's taking a long time for that SMS to arrive - but no, I have to wait up to 7 days for the post to arrive with the code...!
i doubt I'm going to keep this account!
hopefully I'll have time to complete the switch before 18 Nov still.
yes i used the MSE link through - thanks to whoever posted that.

  • You don't need to be logged in to do the switch. You'll need your new account number and sort code but I think they give you those at the end of the application process.

If you don't have the account details (not sure if TSB give those as part of the application), you may get them on the new debit card, before the activation code for online banking arrives.

Once you have them, the switch can be requested from a single page:

They do provide them on screen at the end of the application, but some people have reported the final pages not loading correctly.

Has anyone had a full current account switch completed to TSB, suppose there must be some by now, and was it completed on time i.e the switch completion date?

Yes, my switch completed on schedule last Friday. Hopefully the incentive will pay out equally seamlessly.
  • Yes, but hoping the incentive will be paid way before the Dec date
