I had to chase them to pay the initial cashback when I opened a TSB spend and save account, which I was expecting on 16th Dec 2022. I asked TSB at that time that I really didn't want to have to contact them again in June 2023 because the £55 has not paid out. He said this wouldn't be the case. Now I'm not too sure.not received mine either,my initial bonus came through ok,sure i have done everything i needed to so will give it until end of month the query.Have gone through all the statements, the £500 that should have gone in at the end of april didnt go through until begining of May,i wonder if that has thrown it!
Hopefully they'll show some leniancy but if not it's a good lesson in why these things should be done at the start of the month rather than the end.

Yes that was the first thing that went through my mind, when the next switch happens i will move it.I think this is the first time i have had a additional payment so never mattered in any of the other switches i have done.0 -

So it depends if they are looking for x2 dd leaving account per month or just if I have a couple of mandates set up. I used consecutive £1's x5 to Chip for my x5 debit card spends per month.
If when I call and they see my account they may be funny about how I used my debit card to pay into Chip??0 -

If anything goes wrong (payments/cards/access stopped for fraud) I then have a full month to try and sort it out - but every time so far by the 5th everything is showing what it needs to.Santander is the one that occasionally catches me out because they work on 'anniversary months' which start/end around the 4th for me.0 -

Spoke to TSB today they will not pay the £55,lesson learnt and account switched away.

I thought I should check my statements. I can see 1 dd didnt get taken March 2023. However I think dd mandates were set up.

Today I called CS at TSB, after being put on hold and queried why I hadn't been given £55 incentive. She put through to Switching dept, who put me on hold whilst they checked and confirmed that they would give me the £55 incentive I was due. I have now received £55 incentive!0 -
Further to my last post, I contacted TSB on chat and the CS agent said I wasn't entitled as I hadn't made 5 debit card payments in June. When I pointed out that the relevant date was 31 May, she contacted the switch team who paid the bonus right away.
The OH also used chat. The CS agent said it seemed that he had qualified and gave the number for the switch team. The OH pointed out that my agent had contacted them for me so his agent did so too, and the bonus was again paid right away.
So we both have our bonuses but we really shouldn't have had to go through this hassle.1 -
I shot myself in the foot & missed out on the £55 incentive because I'd signed up to a Chase a/c for the 1% cashback and was paying everything out of there... May was the one month where I didn't satisfy the min of x5 debit card payments. Doh!
