What if you were not aware at the time that one of the links had an 'extra click'?WillPS said:OceanSound said:
How come obviously?WillPS said:OceanSound said:
yeah but were you prepared to fight even before clicking on (whichever) link or was it after finding out about the differences between the two links?WillPS said:99% sure I used the link in the OP and thus was prepared for a fight when payout day came. In the event was paid as expected.
What would've been your line of argument? After, obviously. "I clicked through from MSE" would have been my argument, which isn't a lie and they would never be able to disprove.
You may have seen both links and figured they are both 'clicking through from MSE. If anything goes topsy turvy that will be my argument'. In which case, it wouldn't be like saying '2+2 = 4, obviously'.Because I would *obviously* have done the extra click if I understood that doing that might save me the effort of a possible complaint later on. To not do so would be daft, if you understood it to be a condition (which I didn't at the time, but by the time I realised it the application was done).masonic said:
When you click a link, the server of that webpage gets the information via the referer header, so they can see where you clicked from, assuming they tracked the click. They probably allowed clickthroughs of links anywhere on *.moneysavingexpert.comWillPS said:OceanSound said:

And TSB have a reputation for applying rules in a not-particularly-pro-customer way.Either way, I was confident that I had done enough to ensure I would get the referral bonus one way or another.

Hi all. How long did it take you to receive the bonus? It's been 3 weeks since switch completion and I haven't received any incentive. I've paid out 2 DDs, used the card once and logged into the app multiple times as required by the T&C's.

I don't think the current offer pays out until the 21st of April. Still waiting myself for the £125.
This is also the wrong thread for the current offer.0 -
It was received a few days before the payment deadline in the T&C if I remember correctly.bluehydrangeas said:Hi all. How long did it take you to receive the bonus? Am I right in thinking that those of us who took up this offer are no longer required to make the monthly £500 transfer and x5 debit card payments for the additional payment?0
-
That is correct.drob4 said:Am I right in thinking that those of us who took up this offer are no longer required to make the monthly £500 transfer and x5 debit card payments for the additional payment?1 -
How so? The terms say for 6 months up to September.Bridlington1 said:

From 1/6/23 you are no longer required to do those things to get the additional payment if you took the £180 offer. All the offer says is that you will need to these things each month between 1 December 2022 and 31 May 2023, if you have done then you have qualified for the additional £55 so do not need to do anything further.Ed-1 said:
You've never been required to do those things if you never wanted the additional payment.drob4 said:

And you've never been required to do those things to get the initial payment.
So why say no longer required?
You are still required to do these things to get the additional payment.0 -
Yes the penny's dropped that this thread's about the £180 offer.Bridlington1 said:
