Thanks for everyone's responses it doesn't fill me with confidence to try again. Just wondering if it's a browser issue. I used Firefox.

Cheers
I was also having trouble applying with Firefox. Tried Chrome and everything went through.

Was hoping to receive the activation code today but I just learned of the postal strike, argh! Applied on 4th, card and pin received but no sign of the code so I can actually start my switch. Donor account has paid out 2 DD’s - stupid to need the code to be honest.0

Nine days since opening account and still not received PIN. Card arrived after three days.
In a queue on the phone to tsb now. May give up though. Wake up tsb.0 -

I was going to open this with the intention of switching during account opening, but from comments it would seem that may be an issue. So I've opened the account now in anticipation of delays!0

Hi
I've managed on my second attempt and using Chrome to open an account. Even the switch form went through during the application process. Here's hoping everything else goes through smoothly.

Does anyone know if there's an option to continue an application with TSB. Mine crashed as I applied for the overdraft. Do I just start again?
CheersI was using firefox Browser and it happened to me at the same page e.g the overdraft as well. I ticked the button I do not want an overdraft and got crashed.
What I did is I tried again the following day using "Chrome" browser. So if you were using Firefox try to use Chrome or might be edge as well (?).
But I got another problem. They were asking me for proof ID, proof of address despite I already got four accounts with them for about ten years. Asking me to go to the branch and or download their apps. I really hate to download the apps. But it is a better alternative then go to branches.
Bank verification is still a mystery to me.

Last week, after successfully setting up a burner account, a few weeks prior, I took the plunge and decided to try this switching malarkey.
I received my PIN, and my online banking access number, in the post today, after setting my account up last week, in readiness for my switch next week.
Logged onto the banking app, as instructed, logged in and used the access code provided...
"We see you haven't used the online banking app in a while [obviously, seeing as I'm just setting it up], therefore you will have to contact us to request a new access code." Or WTTE
Ehhh?? So, I'm basically stuck in a perpetual cycle of letters being sent?
No idea how, but I managed, eventually, to set it up via the website, then got logged on via the app. 🤔
Just hope I actually get the bonus now, to make it all worthwhile?
At least I know which account I'll be using, for my next switch, assuming I have the patience to try again. 🤪
